Atrium Senen, around closing time, you'll find ayam lined-up outside on the taxi ramp. Jalan Jaksa, also evening hours. 9 to 12pm. But same as with Atrium, less quality girls. Another place in the same category (low-grade) and not so far, is in Cikini, hotel Menteng Dua (not recommended).

For better quality freelancers, you could try Musro, the nightclub of Borobudur itself. If there are not any freelancers in Musro, there is a small bar in the Aryaduta hotel, not too far from Borobudur. Some nice girls there. Otherwise, you would have to make the trip to the other 5-star hotel bars. Bats or CJ's.

For knock-shops, brothels, nightclubs, the Kota, the area just north of the Borobudur hotel, is full of them, but you may want to RTTF for those. Enjoy.

Great time exploring Blok M delights last week. Highly recommend the lovely Maria from Top Gun. Great fun and a sexy dancer. Have found if you throw a bit of splash cash at their friends eg couple of drinks and taxi money you get it back thru checking of bill and info on girls to avoid etc.

After reading up about this place I tried Hotel Travel yesterday, Sunday. Found the place. Entered through the door to the left of the lobby, got my no and there I was.

I arrived at 18:00 Not too many girls about, but they were coming and going like bees in that place.

A mamasan immedietely grabbed me by the arm and lead me to the darkest place to a table and keept sending me girls. She did not ask me for any me preferrals just kept sending them. Most of them did not really feel comfortable I think as I am 6, 4 tall wich is a giant over here. As soon as I asked if they speak English the turned and disappeared.

After I had finished my beer I decided to take a walk around. Most of the girls refused eye contact but a couple of them yelled out at me.

Unfortunately I went for the looks and picked Dewi which was quite a bit smaller than me but had a nice body and could master some English. In the room she was quite professional and very much geared to finish it of. After about 90 seconds of cbs she had enough and hoped on. If I would not have slowed her down and changed positions we would have been finished very quickly. All together with showering twice it took us max 30 min in the room, as she was not really into touching or cuddling or even massaging.

I had the impression so far that the service normally is more thorough than that. In BKK I do pay more but I come two to three time in 90 min. So can anybody tell me if this is the normal standard service?

Not always, the very first time I went there, I found a gem, but after that it's ranged from okay to mediocre to bad. The best thing about it is that the girls are young, although (mostly) 18+. For a lot of Indonesian mongers, that's the number one factor. To deal with the pushy Mamasans, I always go into the inner room and when they swarm around pushing their girls at me, I tell them that I already had one from the outer hall, I'm just looking at this stage. They are fully aware of the limitations of male biology, so they tend to back off. Then I can wait and drink my beer in peace until I see something I like. The usual trick, try to wait until you make eye contact and the girl smiles, put a priority on that over the shape of the tits or whatever. The only other thing good about HT is that it's open quite late, until one in the morning, I think. Frankly, I'd give it a B- ranking.

Went to Classic Hotel today= Tues. Arrived about 19:30 Very loud place. When you get in you can already hear the noise from the 2nd floor terminal. There is a 30.000 Min charge when you get in. Had a look and managed to bypass all the pushy mamasans. Allthough they have equaly as many girls as at Hotel travel there was nothing that caught my eye. So I paid my covercharge and left for the fifth floor. Similar setup but instead of cornerbenches the girls sit on a set of stairs, which makes it easier to spot them. Also the music was slightly less hectic but still making it difficult to comunicate.

Found Fanah which spoke reasonable english and was a bit taller than the rest. I considered a threesome, but the remaining girls that interested me where in different colour groups or already with clients. So 315000 it was. In the room similar similar service as in Travel but BBBJ for few minutes after I got cleaned up with listerine down there, which I consider quite funny. When she asked for tips I only paid 50.000 and letting her know it was less because I felt rushed.

Could not really tell now whether next time I end up at Classic or Travel!

I find orchadz (jalan industry and pangeran jayakarta) a good quality price option. Never had bad service and they ask what kind of girl you like. 680k idr for the most extensive package in the VIP room which takes 1. 5 hours and well explained beforehand what is provided. Just once I asked to change the girl which came to the room. A gorgeous plastic surgery indo MILF which isn't normally provided and what I hadn't expected. I was in a bad mood to start and also picked a busy night without reservation. Afterwards thinking I shouldv went for it as she stood out between the others but ye. Was no problem to get another one so I was treated quite good. Rooms have mirrors on walls and ceiling and no rushing. A bit strange I see so little reports. Almost no english so its best if you speak some bahasa at reception. Girls mostly speak javanese. If the hotels wouldn't be so badly located outside the center and jakartas macet would disappear magically I would consider staying in them.

If anyone else has some experiences there. They have some interesting packages to choose from.

So went for BATS, but nothing that really kicked me on their and so I left jakarta without any action

I said I wasn't and asked why, she replied that Jimmy was a regular, popular with the other ladies and although she'd never met him she thought I might be him due to the similarity in description. I thought to myself, well Jimmy you're getting your name bandied about town aren't you and thought about how indiscreet the girls at Orchardz were when it came to client confidentiality.

But what really whacked me was that three months later I actually met Jimmy Gallagher, turns out he worked for the same company as me but in a different branch, not far from the hotel in fact. The weird thing is I quickly realised that whoever was using Jimmy's name wasn't really Jimmy as there was no way anyone could have mistaken me for him and more importantly he was the most tight-fisted guy in the place, totally lacking in any sense of adventure and was so mean he was screwing the middle-aged pembantu who came in to clean his (company-owned) accommodation for a pittance rather than go out on the town on nights out with the rest of us. I often tried to guess which of his colleagues was secretly using his name at Orchardz and think I have a fair idea.

So let that be a lesson to you all when you're out and about, whatever you say, say nothing.

- a couple of higher-end hotels have bars where you can pick up girls, including BATS at the Hotel Shangri-La and CJ's at Hotel Mulia.

- the bar / club Red Square (not far from the Hotel Mulia) might be another option.

- stop by the bars at Jalan Falatehan (next to Blok M) such as Top Gun, D's Place and similar.

- mall hunting has worked for many mongers, including both the girls walking around the hallways and girls working in the shops.

- some of the Internet dating sites seem fruitful, can't speak from personal experience on this point.

- around 10 posts down from this post is some good information offered by Joel Goodsen (he was giving advice to someone who's staying at Hotel Borobodur, which is somewhat close to where you'll be staying)

Your biggest problem is that your hotel, the Mercure Hotel in Kota, is pretty far from most of the above places. The Mercure is great if you want to visit Stadium, Kartika, Berlian, Hotel Travel, etc, or the higher-end place Malioboro and Hotel Alexis. However all of these places focus on short-term sessions, not long term overnight.

RTFF is still a valid answer as I'm sure I've forgotten to mention some other good options.
