I have made many trips to the island pre-covid and had a few question's:

1) makati hotels like City Garden Grand detail you can have 1 guest.... My hotels in the past never detailed a limit or joiner fee. Is this a new post covid fee most hotels have now? All hotels are limiting Just sucks to take a girl back to the room afternoon for a legit or non legit pre-evening back/full body massage and that be counted as a "guest", then perhaps be charged for the next few 1-2 friends for the evening.

2) Is this for real?? (4 K peso) $50-$75?? just a bar fee? and people are paying? Or is this just mama scamming/sizing up the newbs weekend business crowd? Ladies asking for another (4 K)+- for a short session 1-2 hours? Crazy? How did it get this bad? All that for Bar girls who have probably been on the job way past the 10,000 mile glaze in their eyes. It's not zero but you will have to look hard to find a Manila hotel that has joiner fees or isn't girl friendly. Of course that assumes you haven't booked a room for one at the cheapest dive in town or a running a parade of girls through a quiet mom and pop facility somewhere.

Mixed it up a little and went out on a Friday for a post-work session rather than waiting until the Saturday.
