shangri-la makati has conway's bar which is a more likely venue but it too has a "hit or miss" scene, and the girls who sit at the bar are always high-priced and usually unattractive (to me anyway).

if you plan to stay at edsa shangri-la, i suggest that you also plan to head off to burgos street bars or the edsa international entertainment center if you want action.
edsa shangri-la is girl friendly provided you don't bring back an obvious hooker or bar girl. security may well ask for i d if you do but only for your protection.

The problem airlines are Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Airphilexpress. Which is the same airline. They both need to see the credit card.
