I was in Taipei recently staying at the Grand Hyatt also. Was in Ziga Zaga two nights, and both times a complete bust. From what I could see of Taiwan you might as well save your money and head somewhere else.

I did get lucky in Taichung at a KTV. My Taiwanese hosts took me there and set me up. I doubt I would ever been able to have managed on my own though.

They most likely pre-paid for you. Most KTVs offer takeout - the problem is the horrendous cost (5k - 15k!).

BTW, I hear the Red Horse KTV in Taipei changed its name and is more wild now - can anyone confirm?

Time people started staying away form her services and told her why as well.

If you are looking for p4p, all you have to do is go to N. Lin-Sen road and walk around there. Those pimp type of solicitors will spot you pretty soon and make their offer. Most of them will start with NT$4000/hr. However, it is not difficult to bargain down to somewhere around NT$2500.
