1. Visited first week in Dec. For 4 days 1 pm-7 pm. Flew in on a non-stop fare of are / t $500 from USA. Landed at 7 am Wednesday; got Zurich-card 72 hour pass; took train in to Bahnhoff station and had Breakfast at Starbucks across street, two story, very nice pit stop. Stayed at Crowne Plaza for CHF 580 for four nights. I arrived at 9 am and they gave me a gym key card; I used the hot, damp Saunas to relax, showered up and early check in by 11 am. Great hotel by the way, recently renovated; about 10 min from main train station, with tram stop one block from hotel. One of few Zurich hotels with a real pool / hot tub and full gym. Hotel loyalty club (can join before trip) includes full American breakfast buffet with dozen hot or cold options, English Breakfast and omelette chef station.
2. Walked around Bahnhofstrasse for 1 HR and then took S14 to SchwerzenBach Globe by 1 pm. I had mentally braced myself for a "terrible line up" based on forum posts in Fall 2023. Truth be told the line-up was terrible except for 3 young, slim, fit Girls. I decided to have Lunch with a Beer and take in the view. I used the time to eat well Lunch, Desserts, Beer, Dinner and write off the CHF 95 entry as a food bill. The Americans texted me from Aphro and confirmed the 11 was there.
