In South, the points of interest are Maribaya, the freelancer bars in Falatehan, street hookers and mall hunting. Maybe ABG's in Kemang night clubs. For dating, I'd take location into account too. I have given up on dating BTW. Unless they put some jilbabs on, of course. I do remember the Spanish summer beaches too as a teen. Much can relate to that post. It looks to me, we are all about the same age here. Mid twenties.
Friday. The 1 pm schedule, during the daytime, Jalan Falatehan is nearly empty. I'd try Blok M plaza for some mall hunting instead.
Saturday. Afternoon. All recommended spas and massage places are a fair distance from blok M. Jakarta is a big, traffic congested place, it will take you some time to get there. Am not a spa man myself, so am not aware of any recommended spas that are closest, but perhaps Delta? Or Fortuna?
For Sunday. Same as my comment for Saturday. You have to travel. And if you are staying in Blok M, it can take you some of time getting around. You could take the busway, or an ojek, up north to the Kota (North Jakarta). RTFF, which places to go to. Enjoy.
Hey guys,
For the spa, you could try Delta, Fortune or MyPlace in Grand Wijaya centre. Its a complex of normal and plus-plus massage places less than 5 minutes drive from the blok.
Check out the three chains on 100 bars website for more info. (Grand Wijaya Center, Jl. Wijaya II, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan)
Theres also a bunch of Korean ones int here, but I haven't been to them.
Cheers HHM

Pez, you have so much time before you come. Try internet dating sites and be really straightforward about what you're looking for. It works for me and I'm 49. Mall hunting can be hit or miss. I would still keep an eye out though, you never know when you might get lucky.
A man after my own heart. Yup, I have a few of these ladies from the dating sites who have expressed their interest in my recreation (and my profile is pretty indicative of my idea of recreation). I like the same idea as you: keep the head covering on, but remove everything else.
MD II
For Saturday afternoon, if your looking for a massage / spa place close to blokm. Then whip down to Grand Wijaya, Grand Wijaya Center, Jl. Wijaya II, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan.
Its less than 5mins from blokm by taxi. There is fortune, myplace and delta in there. They all offer plus plus, and FS if you conect well with the girl. All clean, modern, good food, nice place to kill a few hours. In that complex is a mix of plus massage joints and normal, also lots of korean massage places which I haven't ventured into.
It's a surprisingly small world if you are a bule, even in Jakarta (I dread to think how you'd keep anything secret in the smaller towns). We wander around this town thinking no one is paying us much heed but in fact we're being watched all the time, not in some sort of sinister way, more that Indonesians' favourite pass time is nongkrong, the art of just sitting watching the world go by, and a passing bule is always worth watching for the entertainment value if nothing else. As anyone who has ever tried to find a quiet lay-by for a quick blowjob from the three-in-one jockey you picked up will know there is nowhere in Jakarta, even in the wee hours of the morning, where within fifty yards there isn't someone sitting, squatting, lying or standing around smoking or drinking a coffee, and watching.
Now ninety-nine times out of a hundred this doesn't matter, what do you care what a parkir man, a bakso seller, a street sweeper or even a cop sees you do, or where you are, or who you are with, right? But what about the person idly watching out of his office window, or sitting in the Toyota Fortuner in traffic, or working in the bank across the street, or on a lunchbreak eating mie goreng? Have you done work for him? Paid his company for a project? Is she the secretary at the office where you drop in every so often? Do his kids go to the same school as yours? Is she a friend of your wife's? You don't know right, and at that moment you couldn't give a fiddler's because you've more important things to do than look at the tens of thousands of people surrounding you.
But they're looking at you and some day, somewhere, some time, as sure as the sun rises, that will cause a problem. I know, I've been there.
Hey Hilo,
I've always wanted a blowie from a 3in1 jockey, just not sure about the logistics of it. I'm pretty sure theyd be up for it, if they are prepared to sit in a car for 2hrs in jakarta traffic for 20k, I'm sure they blow for 100. Any input on your experience is welcomed.
Thanks, -

Nightlife North Jakarta
I have been reading the forum for the past few weeks and although I am a frequent visitor to Jakarta I have yet to stay in North Jakarta, this time I will be and realized from the other posts that the nightspots in North Jakarta are few. They are Stadium, Mille's, Travel Hotel (massage). I am a regular at My BAr but with the traffic situation being what it is I may have to shop in Stadium or Mille's for the New Year.
For those of you that have been to MY Bar / Top Gun are Staduim or Mille's the same with regards to free lancers, from what I read Stadium is a place I need to be careful. Never been to any of these places are they nightclubs with music, dance floors etc.
I did go to Stadium Massage (see past post) but didn't really see any entrance for a night club.

Its a crazy place usually best at 3am or 4am, I won't bore you with stories here, but do some googling on it. If its your scene you will love it. Wallet and phone front pocket, don't go too deep in the shadows, usually the bar at the front entrance on the right is a good place to hang and watch the passing parade. Until the mood takes you for some grooving. Bules are fine, and you will often see others there, not a particularly unsafe club, just be aware of your surroundings. Did I read another post of yours stating your in Jakarta New years eve?

This one has softer music, but with gogo dancers (tops off) in it. Girls walking around selling ladies drinks at 50k each, and many mamasan selling their trophies.
If you want music and partying go upstairs, if you want to make an easy score, just sit here for a few minutes.

HHM
Yeah pretty straightforward but don't expect it all the time, you might strike lucky one in five times on other occasions you might get quite a horrified response with the lady jumping out in indignation so don't in any way believe it's a sure thing.
First off choose your passenger, the old women in jilbabs, the mothers with kids, the older kids on their own (and not for one second would I condone even thinking about it with them, it should go without saying but I just want to make it absolutely clear) are all out, they are jockeys plain and simple and are just trying to earn a bit of money for the family. The blokes obviously I cannot speak about as it's not my scene and I wouldn't dream of letting a strange man into my car but hey, who knows, it's an odd world and each to their own.
So you're looking for the young single women, or slightly contra-intuitively in pairs as they will be more relaxed in the company of their mates. Now the most obvious point to make is that there are very few lookers, most are petty kampungan and you wouldn't give them a second look in a bar or mall. Anyway you pick her and her friend up and as your car inches along the traffic you ask them about themselves. First off do they have a job (obviously not, duh, but it's a good intro) , where do they like to hang out at night? If they stay at home looking after their kid brother you're probably not going very far but if they mention some club or other in North Jakarta you're well in, gee I know that place, how do you afford to go there then? Blah, blah, they'll not be shy in telling you at this point how they like to earn a little extra pin money, it's a safe bet that one of them will be willing to demonstrate their skills.
Where do you go at this point? Well as I mentioned that's a problem, there actually aren't that many convenient lay-overs, especially during rush hour. My solution? There and then. I have a large high-sided MPV-style car with tinted windows and automatic transmission. As your car is literally crawling along Jalan Sudirman at 4mph it's a piece of cake to slide the seat back a bit, undo the trousers and steer, who's going to notice a damn thing in the murky Jakarta twilight? Hopefully by the time you've got to the end of the road, you'll have got to the end of the road.
To sum up, it's by no means a done deal, so I wouldn't recommend joining the hellish Jakarta traffic in the vague hope of getting a bit, that would be three hours of your life wasted that you won't get back again. If you're going that way anyway and want to relieve the boredom it might be an option. You're not going to get a stunner, not by any means and even then you might not get want you want. Payment, I very much doubt you'll get away with 100, remember the jockeys are already charging 30-40 thou for the ride anyway so don't think they'll nego plus-plus on the cheap, oh and of course they have zero English so you'll need a decent bit of BI, and even "bahasa gaul" the Jakarta street slang.
All in all it's just an option, not a great one and not something worth going out of the way to get but it has whiled away a few hours in the macet for me in the past.

Yes I will be in Jakarta for New Years eve my usual hang out is My Bar, but this year I am in a different zip code. I kind of know the setup / scene at My Bar. But your info will help a lot. If you around we can meet.
I noticed you listed the places for South Jakarta, which I have shopped before, what similar places are there in North Jakarta for freelancer bars or Street walkers?
Yes, for North. Because there are some many clubs. The Jakarta 100 bars website can be quite helpful. Also it has been discussed often in this forum, RTFF will help with a lot of info. It is not similar at all, I don't think you'll find bars like Falatehan. Nightclubs, one-stop entertainment, executive spas, massage parlours, etc. There are a lot of working girls operating either as freelancer or under contract. For freelancers, perhaps try some on these nightclubs: Golden Crown in Glodok Plaza, Millenium in Gajah Madah, Mille's in Lokasari? Some others may have helpful tips. It's definitely not Falatehan. Street walkers. Yes, but with such an amount of girls available in the clubs, this is really underbelly. Not recommended. Streetwalkers can be found on the north and south side of Monas and bordering west jakarta, Tanah Abang and Kalijodo.

Spa in Senayan
Visited My Place for the first time.
Entered, got a wrist key fob and was given a robe and shorts. Showered and went upstairs for a drink.
Massage prices include HE, either HJ or BJ.
You get a private room without a shower, or you can select one with a shower. The rooms, shower areas, and lounges are all very clean and well kept.
I chose a full body 90 minute oil massage with a girl who could give a "firm" massage (as opposed to "Soft"). After enjoying a beer, I was ushered to a deluxe room with a shower and met #42. Nice looking gal who could speak some English. I was instructed to remove my robe and shorts, then lay face down on the floor, which is covered with a large mattress.
She gave a wonderful body massage, and actually found my problem areas, giving them some extra attention. Towards the end, she asked if I wanted a special massage, to which I just smiled and put my head back down. She then began working on massaging my already semi-stiff cock, balls, and ass, using her talented hands and some more oil. She then had me flip over on to my back and proceeded to give me the best HJ I've ever experienced.
They rarely see bules there, so she was somewhat fascinated with my cock. Or at least appeared to be. Mostly Korean clientele. When I finally blew my load, she was surprised at the volume of cum she had coaxed from me.
She cleaned me up a bit and told me to shower, then ran off to clean up while I did the same. When she came back, she asked me if I enjoyed and told me if I want more girls to go check out CJ's. LOL. Not sure if she was inferring she would be there later or what.
Within a few minutes, the phone rang and our time was up. I headed back to the lockers, changed into my clothes and headed to my hotel.
All in all, a GREAT massage and a very nice HE!
You can opt for no HE and still get a really nice massage, all for about US $25.
Extras may be available, but I was in the mood to just chill and let someone else do the heavy lifting.

Thanks
Just a quick note to say thanks for the great advice given for my upcoming trip. Very much appreciated, and looking forward to letting you know how I got on. Trip sadly postponed, but only for a few weeks so will be mid Feb now. I'm going to explode if I don't get there soon!

Now my question: Usually what time do these massage shops close? I am arriving at Jakarta late at night, but I would love to explore these shops.
