5 fantastic days in Pattaya
I spent 5 days in Pattaya last week after my vacation in Vietnam. Pattaya is a classic destination in Europe among bachelors who travel to Thailand so I wanted to visit the place and see it with my own eyes. The 5 days I spent there turned our to be one the best of my travelling history.
First of all my hotel Siam Bayshore resort and spa was fantastic. The location is perfect, just 5 min walk to the bars and discos on walking street but still far enough from all the noise. Since the beaches in Pattaya aren't that nice I was happy to have such a great pool in the hotel.
On my first night I started touring the agogo bars around 21. 00 in the evening. Went to many places, Airport, Baccara, Dollhouse, Supergirl, Superbaby, Shark, Alcatraz etc. Just wanted to check the quality of the girls in different places. Well this was not a cheap way of starting the vacation in Pattaya since you have to drink in each bar if you want to look around. A taxi driver did give me short lift to the Opey De Place Hotel on Soi Lengkee. A 4th floor deluxe room was available for 990 Baht; it was a bit simpler than I would normally associate with 'deluxe, ' but was clean and had ac, tv, and a balcony. The pool, in a courtyard filled with greenery, was a nice feature that I didn't use as much as I wanted. The hotel's main advantage was its location on a relatively calm side street but near the intersection of Soi Diana and Soi Buakhao and a short walk from Soi LK Metro, putting it within reach of attractions.
I began my walking tour of Pattaya at around 7 that evening, and it frankly overwhelmed me. Despite all I had read about the place, I wasn't ready for the scale of the sex.
