SP Trip Report.
I had been wanting to go to SP for several years, but things always fell through. This time everything fell into place and I was able to arrange for a 3 night visit to SP. Except for this taxi ride, the rest of the time I used Uber which was easy and inexpensive compared to the taxis, including taking back to the airport for my return trip home. My first Uber driver was English speaking and so I hired him as a private driver on an hourly basis for taking me around one day. (If anyone wants his contact info, PM me). I met up with Rovnak who is an expat living in SP and another ISG member that had been in SP for 2 weeks (sorry don't know screen name). Rovnak is a good wealth information and I appreciated him guiding me on my first trip to SP.

Scandallo: well reviewed on this board. I got in right at 7 pm which is the cut off time to have the 150 R entry (instead of 220 R). Good food. Large number of girls, many curvy and voluptuous types with the famous Brazilian "bundas". Unfortunately, I prefer either the GND or model type slim girls (VS or SI model type bodies) and although there were a few mixed in, I didn't see any that I was willing to pay the 500 R / hour going rate + room charge (150 R? I think another poster mentioned the "high" one can get in these environments from having beautiful women vying for your attention. I did enjoy myself, but can't really say that the cost was worth it since I didn't find my "Adriana Lima", or "Alessandra Ambrosio" types. The clinicas are much less expensive, but also less interactive prior to choosing a girl with the "higher end" clinicas having even less interaction having to choose from photos on a tablet.
I'm glad I only visited for 3 nights and can now check SP off my list of places I wanted to visit. I enjoyed my visit, but didn't find anything that's drawing my back quickly.
In the meantime, there's still more of the world to explore.

I don't think it is a question of clinica = lower standard of physical beauty and boate = higher standard, which is sort of how your phrasing might be interpreted by someone who has not visited. Its really that clinica = daytime girls and boate = night time girls. For all sorts of reasons, personal schedule, contacts, economic goals, girls tend to prefer one or the other of these options. Now there are a lot of average lookers at both day and night joints. There are a few real good lookers, statistically speaking, at all places. The significant difference imo is that the successful boates (Scandalo, Bomboa, Casarao.) provide a larger selection in one location, so that statistically speaking there will generally be a few more "tops" in the club. I know that Casarao certainly does, its 100 reais. And Zeus used to charge, maybe they changed their policy, but they used to charge a fee.

I am not biased towards either of the venues, however, The Palms was my top pick in terms of quality and service. Very few know about this place. It is a massage parlour and FS can be had for an additional 150 are. Facilities are top notch compared to clinicas.
I am a sucker for Scandallos but didn't indulge on either of the nights I was there. Now that I know the scene, it will be first preference next time around.

It is clear that waling through SP streets will show you extremely few (if any) girl like the ones that fill Scnaddalo by 10 pm (unfortunately.)/ As this was the 1st time I went to Tangara (only my 2nd trip to SP, I am european), I would for sure not definitely conclude about the quality there (by quality here I mean looks, not sex). But still, when you get greated by about 15 girls and none is fuckable, it gives you I think at least an idea of the mean quality, evne if on this precise day I may have been very unlucky. The only thing I can say is that the (again, on that day) the ugliest gilr in Scnadallo would have been by very very far the most beautiful at Tangara. This can' t be a hasard. And I agree that of course by far not all Scandallo girls would have been my taste, but so much better than at Tangara.
