"Royal" is missing from "New Massage Club" sign, at least today.

I walked by this evening and confirmed that the animated LED sign at this place does NOT say Royal. I will check it out soon and report any other changes I find.
New Massage Club (a. K. a. Royal)
On the right side of Hilton Beijing is an entrance to a parking lot. Go through that to the other side, and you get to a small street or alley. Along the left, you will see JB's Massage Club (hard to miss), then a place that says only New Massage Club, then Animate (Powerful) Massage.
New Massage Club no longer says Royal on the moving LED sign on the outside. Go inside to the desk, and you will see a sign with three lines:
"Oil Massage" 358, 60 minutes.
"Royal Massage", 458, 70 minutes.
No tips!
No other description is offered. I opted for the oil massage.
The young lady was pretty, slim, friendly, and spoke very little English. I took her up on the offer of a shower (solo), then she handed me a hand towel to dry, and a kind of blue paper miniskirt to wear. I call it that because unlike shorts, there was no divider to get in the way of things. I don't actually know why they want you to put it on, but I did.
It was quite warm in the room. The remote for the a/c, which she did not turn on, said 26. That's a few degrees cooler than it was outside, but still rather warm.
The backrub part of the massage was fair to good, starting with the shoulders, then the lower back. I needed a deeper massage, but that's not what this place is for. Next she hoisted up the miniskirt and began massaging my hips. She worked down, massaging between the hips but staying well away from "there". She had me hoist up onto my knees to get better access, and gradually worked down to the boys, and the stick, which was begging for attention by this time. She spent perhaps 10 minutes in this.
On the flip, she showed me her telephone. It had two messages. One said "458 take your clothes off" and the other "358 don't take your clothes off". So obviously this was an opportunity to change my mind. She was allowing some touching under her dress, though I did not go under her panties, since I wanted to stay with the 358 plan for this first time. It was upsell, but in a very friendly way. I was tempted.
I often take awhile to pop, and that was the case this time. She was patient. Her technique overall was among the best I've had, especially while I was on my knees.
After, she cleaned me up a bit, and suggested another shower, which again I took. No soap, so the oil didn't really come off much. A fresh dry hand towel to dry off.
Overall, she was nice to look at, would have been better with clothes off, had very good technique, was patient and friendly. The other girl in the shop also looked good. Not especially cheap at 358, but very convenient if you're staying at Hilton. She did not ask for a tip. Yes, I'd go back.
A word of warning: wear the clogs they offer. The floor is quite slippery, especially after the shower, and the step down could be deadly. It's dim enough that it's hard to see where the floor will be. I suspect there was lingering oil on the shower from earlier use, because it was slippery for the first shower, when I was not wearing clogs.
Earlier reports have called this club Royal Massage. There are indeed business cards that still say that, but it does not say it on the outside. Earlier reports gave the prices as 300 or 450; the sign definitely said 358 and 458 now.
Just past Animate Massage there is a hotpot restaurant, though it's not open much past 9 pm. I had a pork chop, breaded with 5-spice flavor, and cold noodles with sesame paste. A bowl of broth was complimentary. The table condiments (chili / bean sauce, soy sauce, vinegar) improved the noodles. This dinner cost 15. The beer was another 10. The food was decent for the money. Service was friendly enough, as were the other customers (who seemed a little surprised that I was there), and the menu had just enough English to get by on. The hotpot is probably good, but you normally get it for a small crowd.
Xintiandi still active, many choices
Just spent the weekend with my regular provider, Yoyo who works out of Paulaner Xintiandi. I met her there, still several girls hanging around the bar and a few outside the restaurant as well. Generally Paulaner girls are 30's plus, so if you're looking for 20-year olds Manhattan is still the best spot. But the experienced girls from Paulaner know exactly how to act and perform, they know what is expected and recognize they need repeat business. I'm satisfied!
Prices seem to be stable at RMB 1,500 for overnight although Yoyo says her friends are pushing harder to drive the price to 2 K. One benefit of a regular provider is no negotiation!
Bar Luna across the street from Paulaner is a younger crowd, not really my action but I've negotiated the overnight price at 1,500, so consistent with Paulaner.
Note the touts are very active in and around Xintiandi. I'm an old, bald white guy so an easy target but between JW Marriott People's Square and Xintiandi I had six offers for sexy massage. No thanks!
