His getting her to sign payslips under duress could be an issue as there is no proof that he did not pay her other than her word against his.

If she can prove he has not paid her in months, then the labour court will side with her and he will be made to pay her dues and also pay for her ticket back home. (Perhaps there is something on the phone video that can prove this?)

This explains the threat of the sex-video. He is simply trying to get her to back off quietly and drop any charges.

Desperate move, and probably just a bluff as French Canadia says.

If its any consolation, the LE in Dubai are pretty decent and are not naive about these establishments and will not buy this guys story especially since there are other cases against him.

IF he wants to help, he can give her financial support during this whole mess. That is the only thing he can really do short of hiring a lawyer for her. (NOT cheap... and won't really help much)

Worst thing that can happen is she gets nothing and he cancels her visa with a 1 year ban if the labor court decides in his favor. The employer will still need to buy her her ticket home.

So couple of days ago I was walking home and was handed a visiting card of a Bur Dubai AMP. This establishment is located on Bank Street in the same building as a supermarket whose last 4 letters are a common female name that means Princess in Hebrew.

So tonight I was feeling like busting a nut, so I call the number on the card. I ask her the price, number of girls working etc. Then, I ask the lady whether I need a appointment or I can just show up. It seems that she didnt quite understand me. She went on the defensive and was like, "I dont know what you mean. only massage, only massage." that kinda spoiled the mood for me and decided to save my money for later.

Can anyone who has been to this place confirm whether it is a "genuine" MP or are extras offered?

We both know why they do it as many have limited education, kids and family, no jobs prospect in PI, no other choice and hope they can meet a decent guy while here...aspirational in many cases but a few are lucky and find decent guys but a few do get lucky

You mean the building containing the Apsara Supermarket, close to the 4 Points Sheraton. This has 2 massage joints: Thai Elite and Golden Beach. Golden Beach was formerly called Lutfi's and is completely legit. You get a good massage at a good price from a Thai or Chinese lady. No extras whatsoever.

No information on Thai Elite, other than the cost is dh150 per hour. There was a queue when the Shooter visited, so he popped upstairs to the Golden Beach instead.

I'm staying at the Radisson Blu. They have two places downstairts. One is Marbles and the other is Ku-bu. It was a long flight for me and close to midnight by the time I got in and unpacked but since I was wide awake I decided to venture downstairs and check out the action (this was on a Friday night).

Marebles had this Filipino band playing. Music was ok but nothing great. The 3 (or 4) female singers were cute enough. This bar is really small and there were a couple of cute girls hanging around the bar. I then ventured to Ku-bu. This place was very loud and very packed. I keep forgetting how places out here allow smoking in bars. So a nice mix of Filipinos, and CIS walking around. Some looked cute but when you got up close you can see that they had been around for a while (lots of makeup). I saw this really nice African woman too.

I was tired and not really in the mood to party. I did see a few "couples" walk out but I did not stay enough to try to see how much it would cost me.

One thing about the Radisson. I'm not sure if it is GF friendly. You need a room card to go upstairs and there is always a guy standing by the elevators.

That's it for now. Wish I had more to report but wanted to see first if I could get online with Tor.

Anything else walking distance from my hotel I can check out?

Radisson Blu is quite GF from what I have seen and heard. They certainly have their share of girl traffic throughout the lobby. There is a very Eritrean gal (kind of Halle Berry-like) named Erica that I have partaken of at Kubu. She is about 5'7", taller in heels. There are a couple very nice Chinese gals in Marbles, but the CIS gals look to have a few miles on them.

I have heard the Sheraton has a pub but have not tried it.

On the Deira side (where you are), the Hyatt has an expensive place (in terms of cover charge and in terms of what the ladies try to get) called Premiere. I was also pleased with a place in the Meridien Village near the Airport called Jules.

So much has been going on in Dubai in the past few years and it’s fair to say that the mongering scene isn’t what it used to be. The quality is far and few between compared to the good old days.

Here’s my latest experience from end of Jan 2010.

Landed in DXB at about 10 pm and was already restless by the time I got to my hotel: Pullman City Centre (ex Sofitel) has always been my favourite hotel. True, it can sometimes be expensive but at least I know there’s absolutely no fuss when I bring someone in. I don’t even have to go to Reception etc. You just walk straight to the lifts, wahey! And the taxi rank by the hotel door is perfect. I just hate calling taxis in Dubai. The drivers always seem as if they don’t give a f…

First night. It was a Wednesday. After all the good I’ve heard about Kubu, I head there at about 23.30. And it’s absolutely packed. Have to wait ten minutes before I get in. Lots of nice people in there (huge majority of CIS) but there really is no place (and definitely no privacy) to chat someone up or even ask the bloody price. – let alone negociate! The only price I heard from a tall brunette was 2 500 dhs for the night. Which prompted me to get out quick.

I happen to get in the same taxi that I came in. I really didn’t notice until the driver told me “you didn’t find your friend then?”. Yeah, ok, I did lie. And it was slightly embarrassing. What the hell…. I move to Première. Always a safe meat market. After going round in circles, I notice a lovely uzbekh. I manage to get the price down to 1200 dhs for the night. But she pretends she doesn’t know where Deira City Centre is. Someone must have written “pigeon” on my forehead because she asked for the money upfront and she’d then follow my taxi. Yeah right. Then, it was half upfront. And finally, it was everything upfront in Première and she’ll follow me to my hotel. That really didn’t cut the mustard with me… So more circles until I end up on a bodylicious uzbekh. Got her to my room for a thousand dhs. She stayed the night but it was covered bj and she did rush me a bit. And yeah, I kept turning on the lights! You really need to see and enjoy what you pay for.

Second night. I follow the recommendation of a taxi driver and end up at the Zinc. Huge mistake. Couples only and the bouncers are a bunch of … Anyway, walk out on Sheikh Zayed Rd… Lots of African girls on the street. Some have superb bodies but they insist on taking me to their place. Price is 600 dhs “for the night”. Been there before, and I don’t want to end in a shack full of people, no bj and being virtually pushed out of the door after 45 mins and into a taxiless zone. And with what they are wearing, there’s no way I’d risk taking them to my hotel.

Move to Rattlesnake. Jam packed as it’s a Thursday night. Quite a lot of talent (esp Thai and CIS) but awful prices. 2 000 dhs. And it was already 1,30 pm. Sod it, While waiting for taxi, a bunch of African girls are streetwalking and are game for the night at 600 dhs. Lots of disillusioned guys coming from Rattlesnake just dump them in a txi and take them to the hotel as a last resort. A coupel of lookers but the way they’re dresses shouts “*****” too loud. I move to York Hotel. Quality is much much lower. Spot a couple of CIS but their pimps are there (older girls in fact). They all want me to pay the pimp 800 dhs before taking them to my hotel. I just don’t trust those sorts of deal. Closing time. So I grab onto an Erithrean girl. But her attitude is lousy despite quoting 800 dhs. Outside, while trying to get a taxi, I spot another Erythrean/Ethiopian. Same price, better body. Grab her but no taxi would take me with an African girl. Yep, this is Dubai! So end up with nothing in my hotel on that long vain night.

The next night, I play it safe. I go to Churchill’s, the pub of my hotel. I spot wto Chinese girls. For 1 000 dhs, they both come to my room. Enjoy my first time with two girls. They were a bit amateurish but hey I got what I wanted. And managed to catch my plane at 3 am.

Directions to Broadway Hotel (assuming you're traveling on Al Maktoum Bridge, crossing over to Deira):

On Al Maktoum Bridge, stick to the left-most two lanes so that you will take a left turn and end up on [b]Al Maktoum Street[/b] (by going under the Clock Tower). On Al Maktoum Street, keep an eye out for Emirates Bank on your right and take the first right turn after this bank (it's the right turn just before the overhead pedestrian crossing).

This is a short street that opens up into 42A street. Take a right and keep an eye out for Broadway on your left. See attached picture of the building... you can locate it on Google Maps or Google Earth at roughly these coordinates: 25°15'40.01"N 55°19'20.27"E.

When you enter the hotel, The Coffee Shop is to your left. Many Armenian girls with lots of makeup trying to convince you they are Turkish or Arab. Drinks are reasonably-priced.

Another venue for daytime CIS would be Astoria Hotel in Bur Dubai (you have to be patient as sometimes you can come across gems). Panorama Hotel on Mankhool Road also has a few CIS women. Less chances of decent-lookers here, though. Super-cheap drinks, though!

it was a bad day yesterday. after finishing my vehicle service and other stuff. i reached kubu at 6:00. the door was closed. The Japanese restuarant besides KUBU told me that they open at 7:00.. no issues. i went to marble. only 3 guyz including myself so left for creek to spend some time in open air.

came back at 7:15. i was the first guest for night. ordered Bull frog (kubu speciality) with froster. the first PRC came. not interested. the second came, i was confused about her origin. waited for 30 minutes but no progress so approached the second one. cant recall her name. she was chubby but very young. my guess was she is 22 but she said she is 27. she was from Uzbukistan. talked for a while, ordered drink. decided to leave at 9:40. few girls came but i have already done my selection. she was ready to go for 700+100 cab. came out and it was heavy rain. my car was parked at creek side. she refused to get wet. so i told her i will bring the car. i was about to cross the road and i saw her going in again with a guy (maybe her old customer). so came back to kubu. she was standing with him so no point in arguing. started talking with a Russian from St. peterberg. asking price was 2000 for night. no need to argue at 10:45 when i left the scene alone, there were hardly 20 girls in KUBU.
