What's the verb for to get engaged? Comprometirse. So he translated 'ring' and 'promise' and gave her 'un anillo de comprometido. ' Dude, that's an engagement ring. She was waving it under everyone's nose and saying she was engaged.

Plug this word into your translator and see what you get: pinche. I just put it in Google Translate and it came back with "lousy. " Yeah, that's what it means in Mexico and Guatemala. In Chile and Peru, it means cheapskate or tightwad. In Spain, it's the person in the kitchen who peels the potatoes, slices onions, etc. Lowest on the totem pole after the dishwasher. I was in Spain with a mexicana friend and she would see signs in the restaurant windows, 'Se necesita pinche,' and would wonder why they would be advertising for a piece of junk.

Or 'macanudo. ' Or 'coger. ' You can get in some real trouble with both of those words if used in the wrong country.

When rating woman's beauty, a lot of folks mix in other variables, like performance in bed, ability to cook and clean, character traits, and other things that they find important. Elvis rates his girl a 10 (10 means it can't get any better), just because he is in the relationship with her, and values other things besides the beauty. But a woman pushing 40 and having a kid can't be an objective 10 by default. Have you ever seen a 37 yo mom win the Miss Universe contest? She wouldn't even qualify. I'm aware there are other contests for older women, moms / wives, etc but those are very niche. It's like winning a beauty contest for disabled. You can be a winner, but never a 10 if your limb is missing.

Other folks rate women based on their preference. Let's have Naomi Campbell in her prime years an an example. Some idiot could rate her a 5 just because he doesn't like black women. There is the Glenn Close type in fatal attraction. Her famous line was "I won't be ignored, Paul". So Glen Close was crazy about the guy she was with. Yes, but in this case crazy means insane. And these women are the ones who have fooled me more than the others because in the beginning, they are very selfless, caring, and into you are. They put you up on a pedestal and objectify you, and they want you to do the same with them. And when they feel you are not doing the same, that is when they start boiling bunnies. These women easily may go for someone older or not that attractive. For me the real problem with these women was they show others how much they care for you and get your allies on their side. When you see a women get psychotic when you are leaving, you are probably with this type and need to get the fuck away.

Then you got manic depression. When a chick is in the manic phase, she might fuck anything that walks. When she is in the depressed phase, she won't give a shit if Brad Pitt is coming onto her. They spend like crazy when they are manic so they go for guys with money. So you set a price with them and this is most important. You let them call you. When a chick is in the manic phase, she will fuck your dick into dust. When they are depressed and cutting themselves, they want to be alone, and you should let them be alone. So these women can be great sugar babies, but if you take them seriously, you are crazier than they are.

I had a friend marry a woman like this. I told him he was out of his fucking mind. I could see the MB style justification for this. I am younger than you. You do not have the personality I do. Blah, blah, blah. But he said the worst line of all, "I think I can handle it. " I actually had this dummy write that down and sign it. Five years later, he is depressed and bankrupt, and the sad part is I knew what was coming and could do nothing to stop it.

So Paulie, when you and MB Paulie start to make comments like hot women like young, rich, handsome ETC, you are not dealing with reality. The manic depressive may feel nothing towards anything or anyone including Brad Pitt. If you talk to women who are like this and ask them why they are slitting their wrists trying to kill themselves, they will tell you that they feel nothing and they are so desperate to feel anything, they cut themselves so they can feel the life going out of them. I can actually read Spanish to the degree that I can distinguish between correct and incorrect translation mostly. I can always explain what I think is wrong to the girl to ask her to rewrite it to produce the correct translation. I am not talking about the GFE that you get when you meet the girl the first time. It is something that builds up over a long period of time. By now, the girl can tolerate translator and be patient with me. Sometimes, the translator is not needed because the girl speaks English.
