The good, they do die young.
The birdie is back and has sent a pic. Closed about 2 weeks ago is Luffy's Billiards House and resto / bar. Clean place, 7 or so pool tables, good food and grog. Went there several times, will miss it. Located next door to Herald Hotel on Polaris St (across the street from the BelAir Soho).
First time in the Philippines
First and foremost I want to thank everyone here on ISG for all the valuable information. I came in from Bangkok to Manila a little over a week ago. Filled out my ETravel card 3 days before my flight. Cebu Pacific was great and I got breathtaking views of manilla and the plane was landing at Ninoy Aquino Airport. I deplaned and speed walked past everyone and when I got to immigration there were only 2 people ahead of me. I had me Etravel card email confirmation thing in my phone and passport in my other hand and walked up to the immigrantion officer who spoke perfect English and stamped me in for 30 days. Literally took like 30 seconds. I made it to the baggage carousel before the luggage arrived and had to wait about 20 mins to get my suitcase.
I then found an ATM and had no problems withdrawing 10,000 php. Fee is 250 php but Fidelity reimburses those. Anyways I found the globe kiosk and got a sim card and data package before leaving the airport. I also saw there was a Dennys on the second floor so I went and had breakfast before leaving the airport as I was early for my airbnb check in anyways.
Leaving from the airport I used the Indriver App I have on my phone (similar to grab) to order a ride. He showed up in about 15 minutes right by the grab pick up station outside but on the inner driveway not the outer street. I hopped in and off we went. I've read here that traffic is bad in Manila but he got me to my Airbnb in Makati in no more than 30 minutes.
My airbnb is pretty nice, it's nothing super fancy but for $18 a day it has all the necessities. Standard size bed, couch, TV with cignal cable, Wi-Fi, hot shower, small kitchen with microwave and small fridge and plates and utensils. Also a small table where I set up my laptop to work. I'm located near the Evangelista neighborhood of Makati.
I want to send a special thanks to Mdemde. He helped me out with my first two girls I saw here, Nica and Mylene. Nica, whom I had made contact with before my arrival turned out to be really good. She's a 22 year old petite Pinay with a soft spoken voice. 3000 php plus joyride fares for bbfscip. Maylene was even better she's 19 years old and has a bit of an acne problem on her face but she is way more sensual and enthusiastic in bed whereas Nica fet somewhat mechanical. Also Mylene has a great body with perfect perky titties and a real nice apple bottom ass. Thanks again Mdemde you're the man bro.
After these two I paid for the subscription for PinaLove so I can use all the features and be able to message the ladies. So far I've gotten about 20 more from the Pina Love site including one that stayed the whole night and didn't even want any money.
They've been coming from as far north as Valenzuela City, port area, Quezon City, quite a few here in Makati and some to the south off of a road called Molinos. All have been BBBJ / BBFS with prices as low as 2500 php including transport to a high of 3000 php plus transport. Transport that they prefer is a motorbike Uber type app called joyride and / or Move It. Fares are usually between 100 php to 300 php depending on the distance.
I'm quite impressed with how much it looks and feels like Latin America with all the street side food vendors and markets. Alot of English and Spanish mixed in with the tagalog language too so it makes it easier to communicate and understand things. I already knew some of the basics too like Magadang Umaga, kamusta ka, and Salamat po.
So far I've had a great time here. Only issue was trying to buy Viagra or Cialis at mercury drug and Watsons they wouldn't sell Me anything without a prescription which I thought was kind of weird but I found a small mom and pop run pharmacy that was happy to oblige.
Will post updates in the days and weeks ahead.
