I threw that sim away, changed to Smart and the mega 250 promotion has saved me a lot of money and is definitely the way to go. I always sent MEGA250 message in capitals. Maybe it doesn't matter.

I use it since two years and it works well, even I never use the free internet and the free calls, which seem to me a bit complicated. And, be careful, they don't notify you when the 30 days are over.

I started to work towards my possible Phil trip and toil over Date In Asia and FB. I have been told by some girls that my frank pronouncement on DIA profile that I'm looking for adult relationship was a turnoff. So, I changed it to say that I want to explore chemistry first, then maybe more. I see a problem with both approaches, as being too forward may scare nice girls off, while not saying what this is all about may waste time by bringing girls that won't do it on the first date. Do the esteemed members of this forum have an opinion or advice on this matter?

Also, is there another free site, like DIA, where I don't have to have a credit card to participate? If the only other such option is FB, then I wonder what the best strategy is for getting traction on FB.

I enjoyed the chatting with various girls, and never talked about sex. I spent time in Manila, Cebu, and Davao, then worked my way back so I could tell them I was leaving in a couple of days. It turns into an unstoppable beast which needs to be kept under control. I don't know about "your" ekspat but I make sure to cut (control) the crowd down as I only accept girls living in Makati or its close surroundings (also working in Makati can be accepted if stunning enough). For the free voice calls you need to type *2477 + the 11-digit number, so I guess that is a bit complicated. Yes, you will not be notified when your 30 days are up, but that holds true for all periods whether 2 days or 7. You could use your mobile's calendaring to set up a notification to remind you to renew, or simply text globe or smart and you'll get an sms that informs you of when it expires.
