If any monger is going to venture to Bacolod City let me know as I have a horny 24 year Filipina who would love to meet you and entertain you :D
If you PM me I have a few pictures but will not post here as she is not a WG just a good fuck looking for nice guys and will see my 'friends'
Thanks Roger. It's one of those places I keep considering, but somehow it never happens. Hope you can give us some Bacolod field reports.

Did anyone on the board ever visited Calbayog? It is situated on the north west part of Samar.
If anyone did. Could you please give me some pointers on accomodation. Hotel name. Price range. And wich ones to avoid.
I am planning to visit Calbayog around June.
Thanks in advance.

MAHKU went there in 2006. That may be the last time anyone wrote anything. I recall he had to beat the women off with a stick.
Lonely planet (2006) lists the Rolet hotel, Summers Garden Pension house. Maqueda Bay Hotel has basic rooms...but the real draw is the restaurant over the water. All these for about 1000 pesos.

Gentlemen,
CDO Hotel Recommendations anyone? I'm looking for the usual: safety, girl friendly, reasonable rates. Much appreciated.

Thanks a million X Man. I would also check Lonely Planet myself.
You said that the restaurant Maqueda Bay it's over the water? That should be nice. How's the food like X?
Thanks again.

The Rolet is in Catbalogan, not Calbayog. I was in Calbayog a couple of years ago and found it boring and unfriendly. Was there on a Friday night and found it absolutely dead. But that was just my experience and YMMV, of course.
I much preferred Catbalogan. Full of friendly, flirty, lovely ladies and a number of good bars and restaurants.
Hi forum,
Next week I will be travelling to Masbate, but searching the forum turns up nothing about the place. Can anbody give me any info on Masbate City where I will be staying?
The whole city look's to be about 2 square kilometers in size on Google Earth, so shouldn't be too hard to explore, but then again there are warnings about possible problems for foreigners due to military activities involving US GI's on Mindanao & Masbate taking place next month.
Any feedback appreciated.
Cheers,
P.
Thanks Genghois. The only reason that I'm going there for a couple of days is because a friend of mine met a sweet thing in Manila (originaly from Calbayog) and he will be heading that way for a couple of days and he asked me to tug along. Good idea. I might even visit Catbalogan.
Thanks again,
Alex

Anyone here near Ilocos Norte, Laoag area? I'm thinking of going there in about two months. I was there last year but I was too occupied to have much fun. Now I only want to monger that's it! What's the scene like there? Is it worth it to monger there for about three weeks? I think I'll also want to rent a car but mostly picking up girls.
Thanks for the correction. Looking at my map, it seems the two places are about 80/100 km apart.
I thought it was evident from my earlier post, but I've never been to Samar. I was going on memory of earlier posts and LP. I was in Tacloban, Leyte three months ago and had considered continuing north into Samar.

Marju Crisel hotel, a few kilometers from city center is supposedly the best in Calbayog. Aircon, cable TV, hot water rooms 700-800 pesos. Large swimming pool seems to be run as a sort of community pool. They had swim meets going on when I was there. As for other options, I've only seen the outsides of some hotels in town and they didn't look like much to write home about. There is also Samar Sea resort in Bgy San Joaquin, about 30 minutes out of town. Dak sand, dark water beach, definitely not a destination resort, but if your friends girl lives near there it is an acceptable option.

Here’s my trip report from Legaspi to Cebu via Samar/Leyte, from about two years ago.

How did you like Tacloban? Kind of a filthy little city, but there’s something about it that I quite liked. Or maybe it was just Schooners!
