It has everything: culture, history, architecture, art, wealth, poverty, fantastic subway, crowds, parks, unbelievable food. Everything can be had. It would take years of walking and exploring before you could feel you knew the place. San Salvador is a provincial town with no history, no food, not much really. Can explore it fully in a single day.

Apparently there is a good Twitter escort scene if you can get plugged into it.

My biggest complaint for Mexico City is altitude and hotels without heat.

I would have to agree with John Clayton. From Michelin star restaurants to cantinas to street food, CDMX has it all in terms of food. You can also find 5 star hotels with world famous spas, inexpensive love hotels and abject poverty as well. I personally love this city. While it is sinking and prone to earthquakes, you can find genuine, honest and hard working people going about their lives trying to make a living and for that, I must admit that I enjoy the entrepreneurial spirit to the city.

In terms of the mongering scene, there is an active twitter feed with many amazing girls and there are amazing individuals within this forum that contribute honest reviews. The USD will get you about 20 pesos and most of the recommended girls on this forum will charge no more than 1500 pesos per hour. Girls run specials all the time through twitter and it is not uncommon to find rates as low as 800 per hour when girls need the money. I had no problems booking two hour sessions for 2000 pesos plus a small propina. This comes out to $50 per hour. The next El Geisha party is scheduled for Saturday, 21 September. At least one ISGer will be there but, sadly, not me. I am heartbroken that I cannot sample Lisa or Jenni Tumbler at this party or repeat with favorites. I am too dumb to figure how to make such deposits from the USA. I don't know where for Reyes del Sabor or Total Divas parties. Blanco Colima in Colonia Roma is one of my favorite places for high end dining, great drinks and beautiful chicas. I spent $200 usd there with a couple friends, but the same food, drink and ambiance would have busted me $600 in the States.
