I have noticed that the Chinese have risen their fees. I was surprised the other night at Seashell to find that the Chinese charge BD 60 for ST. Unbelievable! To my understanding, they only charge BD10 for ST & BD20/30 for LT. But the problem lies not with the Chinese but with those newcomers to the place who are ready to pay up to BD100. An African American who was sitting next to me gave one Chinese lady 300$ and he carried her out the hotel. In Bristol Hotel which is in the same area, the Chinese charge only BD10, the same thing in Omer Khayyam, off Exhibition Rd. Thai chicks have become a rarity; however, they are seen in Semiramis Hotel in Exhibition Rd. and Miraj Hotle next to it. I have also seen some in Aljazeera and Awal in the town centre near the Goldciti.

Absolutely Sami. PRCs are making hay while the sun shines...However I noticed that they are open to negotiate, as if very often they do expect you to counter with a much lower bid. May be, as you said , the usual charge is 10/20 and when asking for much higher rate she knows.

I was at Diggers the other day and was quoted BD100 for LT by a cute PRC. I countered with 40 and within few minutes she was at 60 and I think I could see wilingness to negotiate further.But I dropped out as I was not really sure ( Chinese are not my preferred flavour actually...)

Later , at sea shell I was quoted BD60 for ST (again a PRC), may be a 7 ( Or I was too drunk by then!). That was long time ago. Please don’t encourage members to visit these bars. The situation in your old bar MoonPlaza is different now; the light is on and you wont find Asian waitresses there. The reason that these 'jungle' bars are closed because of these activities that you are referring to; the Asian ladies used to give oral/hand blowjob for BD3. But the problem now is when the CIDs enter these places, they not only arrest the ladies but also the customers. You have to spend a few days behind the bars. Is it worth?

Fyi, I am not encouraging anybody to go any where. My first reply on this topic was asking if jungle bars was still around? Please read. This forum is for sharing of information. I've arrived in Bahrain two weeks ago and didn't know anything. Ive searched the thread but I've not seen any mention of Riks Kountry Kitchen. I was there earlier and there were a few Chineese girls in. Maybe Thai I didn't speak to them. Seemed very friendly and eager to make eye contact.

I was on 20 to 22 of last june in Bahrain and witnessed the raids on some rented apartments in the area between Exebition road (almaared) and AlFateh street where you find there all those rented apartments some are good some are bad or old.

A night at a normal week end is 35 BD and the flat is one big living with a nice enough bedroom.

Some have 2 bedrooms and 2 WC's too at 40 BD and they have girls from magred, philippines and Iraqis.
