Some are mentioned regularly here. Others I found through the link that Red Kilt posted recently. Others are just sites that rank high on Alexa's list of the most popular sites in the Philippines and sounded like social sites to me. I would expect FC to be less difficult.

After being banned on an account I had been using back home I tried to create a new one while in Philippines. New email, new IP, new cell number but I was banned again as soon as I typed the word "adventurous" while creating a profile. Doubt that is what triggered it and assume that they have recorded MAC addresses? Anyhow time to give up on that I think. Enjoyed the opportunities it provided. !

Yes, FC accepts paypal, but there are a couple of things to consider when using it. Firstly, it's only slightly more secure, by which I mean discreet, than a credit card. If one is concerned about his partner looking at the statements there will be a paypal rather than a cupid media entry. Will this spark her curiosity and a question? Secondly, and more importantly, using paypal in the Philippines (note: in the Philippines) can prove a challenge. My account (created in 1999 and used regularly) was suspended in 2013 the second time I used it from my computer in the PI. (The first time I did a transaction here it processed successfully.) Speaking to a paypal CSR on the phone I was told paypal has experienced too much fraud from the PI so this unilateral action was taken to protect me. (At the very same moment the CSR told me that my doctor rushed in my condo and unrolled a condom on my cock. I was feeling very protected. And it bothered me.) Other than telling me to create a new paypal Philippines account there was no way paypal would assist me unlocking my existing account until I returned to the country where I had created it. I offered to send scans of my IDs, passport, etc., but paypal wouldn't budge. Maddening. If one intends to use paypal I recommend doing so before you leave home.

BTW, unlike a bank that you can (and ought to) notify before leaving for the Philippines, paypal doesn't allow for the hey-I'm-going-to-be-in-the-PI-so-allow-me-to-use-it-there advance notice. I guess the risk takers who founded the company have been replaced by dour stick-in-the-muds who can't imagine extending paypal's reach (perhaps at an added charge levied to the customer). Oh well. Those gaps and seams in the marketplace eventually get filled by new players.

I wonder if anyone has succeeded to connect to girls on Filipino Cupid as a BASIC (non paid) member? For privacy reasons, I am precluded from using credit card on this kind of sites, so I am forced to use only free options. Yet, I haven't figured out, if there is a way to generate any traction on FC this way. Will be grateful for any pointers from the veterans of FC.

Just make another profile. You need to have a different phone number. It does not matter whose phone number it is as long as you can access the activation code they send by text. Put in the code and voila you got a new account. Yes you need to put another pic.

It looks like certain girls who you pissed off can complain to DIA and they will close the account. Most often they complain that you asked for sex.

DIA has gotten stricter. Best thing to do is ask the girl for ym or Skype with you. There you can talk anything.

For all my on line transactions I use my VPN connection and look like I am in my home country.

I use Witopia but there are lots of companies out there with similar prices and services.

Also provides secure communications from your laptop to the network so no worries about anyone stealing passwords from the either.

Thank you George (and Hutsori) for the advice. Unfortunately, prepaid card doesn't seem to work internationally. And putting my Skype contact for everyone out there does not leave me in control, which is not optimal. Will keep relying on DIA, until better solution comes along.

Easy enough to set up a toss-away account.

I have used DIA and I have met several girls. It seems to be a workable tool for meeting girls. I would however advise caution tempered by common sense. Just today I was asked to send money to someone sight unseen. I explained politely that I would be foolish to send money to anyone based on pics and a few chats. I could be chatting to a male who has posted pics of some girl he knows. The pics were nice and I did not close the door to future chatting. I also see the possibility of a sting from a minor girl or a falsified claim of daterape emerging from a DIA encounter.

Anyway, I have tried Tagged and I am just not real patient to learn, largely through trial and error, how it works. Has anyone published a "Tagged For Dummies?
