Tokyo

This is my 1st post, but I have been lurking on this forum a little over a year now. I have found this board to be very informational, and will look to start sharing info as well. My excursions take place in South and Central America mostly, but I thought I would switch it up and try something different.

I was looking for a travel announcement thread, and didn't see one. Please forgive me if this isn't the place for my post. I will be headed to Japan for the 1st time for Golden Week. Didn't actually plan it that way, but as it turns out that's when I will be there.

I was wondering if any like minded individuals would be interested in possibly meeting up if any of you guys will be there during that time, if so, please pm me.

Hey, so I have a 14 hour lay over here at the Tokyo airport, I have never been to Japan so I don't really know where to start. Anyone have any hints or advice? I'm staying close to the airport. I would love to try a soapland if one is near by. Or anything.Thanks!

Thanks[/QUOTE]Search this thread under "NArita". You will see that you need at least 3 hours to go and 3 hours to come back. That leaves you 8 hour, minus 2 for going in and out of immigration. You are left with 6-7h. That's enough for 1) a soapland in Yoshiwara. 2) A couple of Bjs in pink salons.

As you are a newbie in Japan, I would not recommend any action which requires going to love hotels etc.

My best advice is to go to the kings club soapland in yoshiwara. See some recent posts about this place, and check their website. You can book and choose your girl in advance, take the subway to Ueno, (Narita express) be picked up and dropped by the club's limo at the station, and have a good 2 hours session with a real japanese woman, including FS for about 30, 000 yens, (plus cost of transport from and to Narita).

The other otpion is Asian Mystique, but expensive: 35000 basic price, plus surcharge for travelling to narita, plus cost of an hotel room near narita. See their website.

Good luck. If I were yopu, I would definitively jump in and go to the soapland.

Thanks for the info. I am already in my hotel (stay at the Marita Nikko). I was hoping that I could get something local or have a girl come here. I called the massage in the hotel and an OLD lady came to my room, so I asked her to leave. I have ALWAYS wanted to try a Soapland, but iam not sure that I have the time.

So I guess there is NOTHING local here near the airport huh?

I gave you all info regarding soapland. Ifplanned and booked, you need all together 6-7hours from your hotel and back.

My ex sent a Skype to me from Tokyo, saying the power was off. I bet her drive home sucked big time. Hope she had a full tank of gas.

I see the epicenter is off Sentai in the NE. So I am wondering if this counts for "the big one" Tokyo has been waiting for since the 1923 Great Kanto Quake (7. 9 Richter). I suppose the geologists will say "maybe, maybe not".

My ex made it home. She was working in a high-rise in Tokyo. The power was off, no trains running. So she found a store and bought a bicycle! Spent 6 hours riding home.

She said the city was pretty chaotic. Seems they have power now.

Jambo, glad she made it home ok. I pray for all the people of Japan. I hope my friends there are ok.

". [/QUOTE]Well, today is another story. All hell is breaking out in Japan. Tsuanmi, fires, floods and even a possible nuclear reactor meltdown.

Looks like any mongering is out of the question for a long time as recovery may take years.

Just be glad we are not there and pray for those that are.
