I was cruising through Shibuya tonight and wandered by Kadoebi, totally by accident. I decided to check it out and was welcomed in. Total damage was 18K for standard soap treatment with an older, friendly Japanese lady with absolutely no English skills. I talked to the tencho and he told me times are tough and depending on the line-up, some foreigners with Japanese skills are fine. But, he also told me something very interesting. Foreigners who meet the criteria (not sure what that means but I'm guessing it was race-related) and who can speak Japanese are usually going to know how to behave and not going to be intimidating for the ladies. Japanese skills are not the key factor but behavior is. If a foreigner has taken the trouble to learn Japanese then he probably knows a little about the culture and how to behave. That means don't be drunk or stupid, let the lady take the lead, be polite and quiet, come alone and leave your friends behind and basically behave like a permanent Japanese resident.

The lady was very friendly but not the type you would probably be attracted to in a bar or a club or even on the street if you get my drift. In other words, plain looking but not homely or ugly, just plain average looking. I asked her if there are many foreigners coming through. She said many Chinese now, a few Indians, almost no caucasians and a few Koreans. But, they all could speak at least a little Japanese so I think that's the screening criteria at the door.

The Kadoebi chain has a wide variety of "quality" levels in their many shops. The price varies with the quality. Quality seems to relate to age of lady, attractiveness of lady and the size of the room. The lower-priced locations have the smallest rooms and the oldest and least-attractive ladies. The Shibuya location is probably at the mid to lower tier of the chain in my estimation.

I think if you can tolerate a NYNY-type lady (older, less attractive, perhaps a little chubby) and are looking for no-frills FS soap treatment then check this place out. It really helps to have natural-sounding Japanese skills, even if your Japanese is weak, if it sounds natural then you may have a chance. But, be sober, be discreet, be quiet and subdued, be humble and act like a Japanese and you should be successful.

Can't agree more with your comments on learning japanese. I now have very basic conversation skills, but enough to show that I am familiar with Japan and its culture. That has helped me considerably to be accepted in many places where I usually was not. I think it also has to do with my own confidence: the way I introduce myself is now very different, because I have confidence in my ability to communicate. Worth the efforts.

Hi friends! I have been to Tokyo a few times in the past but this is really the first time that I get a chance to monger. I have been reading a lot about Champs and NYNY. Feel that these are good places for me to start.

I spent some time reading the forum, but have a couple of questions:

- Do the providers usually strip down when they soap, massage and serve you? Or is that something that you would need to request them to do and not always happen? How about touching them?

- Similarly, while more people reported BBBJ and CIM seems to be quite common in both places, are they still the standard these days? How about DATY and DFK?

Every provider is different. Some will only offer HJ. You need to check the website and translate what their talent is. Some give killer massages, some give nice BBJ, a few will do CIM. Some will let you touch and finger them, some will not. It all depends on the lady. It is a nude service. Don't push them, either. You can ask but if you try to force your way on them you will be asked to leave without a refund. The rules are rules and that's the way it is in Japan.

[/QUOTE]Just adding to the above report, which I totally agree with; You can politely ask if you want, say, a young girl, and / or, say, a "busty" girl. Just say with a big smile, and without any hint of "ordering", I "Young?", and also mimick big breats. I can now say this in japanese, but before I learned, I still managed with simple gestures to get a younger big breasted girl.

Now, with regards to service, I had only twice bad sessions, and one was with a relatively old Lady, and the other one with a young one. As always, at the end, YMMV. But if you get a bad session, you only lost 9600 Yens (and time, and perhaps also your precious semen.)

Thanks for our friends' information, I went and tried Champs Elysees tonight.

It was raining quite a bit and I had trouble finding the place initially, but have eventually located it. I speak no Japanese. Yet the manager and cashier were very friendly.

Same routine as described by the other mongers on the board. I did not choose a girl as it was my first time there and I don't know any one of them anyway. Yet I later found out that there is in fact a phone album in the waiting room that you can look at and pick a girl if you like.

After reading most of the posts on this forum for several weeks; I decided to get my little mongering adventure going.
