Where is the actual facts?
Daddy07,
You're experience mean nothing to those that come and go and visit for a short time no matter how many times they come here because they are cut for time they are always on the go trying to get as much as they can with the limited amount of time they have here. In the end what many of them don't understand is the word " Expectation " so they blame it on Pattaya and note that we are being sensitive but in fact all we are doing is reading their post and pointing out within their own reports the contradiction.
We who live here have the time of our lives even though their culture and driving can get to you. But we are never in a hurry so when one slows down you tend to see better even though our eyesight are going? Its like a college football player going from college to the Pros. The game is faster the players bigger and faster but once you get adjusted you see the game better and understand it.
I keep on hearing these same statements where ones experience is now " Fact " because of one person experience " there is no way it can be disputed " Pattaya is in decline there is no argument there " and this might be coming from guys that are business successful, maybe CEO / CFO more money that you and I have together educated individuals who normally in the real world would question or fire a individual that uses these type of reasoning for their opinions in a board room. Mongering is really funny that the small head can have such a domination over reasonable thinking.
I love Swenson ice cream, I have been going to Swenson over 20 times but each time I go back the place seems a bit slower and the girls that once serve me look less spectacular. Ask any other patron who has been going to Swenson for years and I'm sure they will share the same observation. Those are the facts it's not me fellas its Swenson, and if you have been going there as long as I have there is no way you could disagree with me! Swenson is in decline there is no argument there since I counted the chip in my chocolate chip order and found that there are no longer 50 chips in each cup and that the chips now are fatter and less dark. Swenson is causing Pattaya to decline. But when I want chocolate chip I'm going back to Swenson in spite of everything and if you question this you are being too sensitive about Swenson.

Chime up with a better place, if you can!
In 1978, there were only dirt roads in Pattaya and I used get the finest ass for 3 US dollars! So, I guess everyone is correct, Pattaya is on the decline!
Please, stop the fucking whining! Rent, food, and utilities are higher, thus, things cost more.
I will challenge anyone to tell me where in the world that has better venues and lower costs than Pattaya. I'll wait for your experienced answer.
When the world is running down
I have to agree with Daddy07 and Tomjackin on this.
In 1978, there were only dirt roads in Pattaya and I used get the finest ass for 3 US dollars!
Wish I had been there in '78. Aside from Pat, Phuket was an unspoiled paradise (no large hotels) and BKK Patpong all nighters were $5. I know because I have close friends that were doing it. In the 70' & '80's, I travelled Central and South America and it was pretty amazing there too. San Jose in '72; I never paid for pussy. My friends and I would meet the girls at Colt 45 bar and make plans to hook up after closing. The girls were happy just to spend the night with us gringos and pretend we were their boyfriends. Columbia was even wilder and Jamaican girls used to fuck me, the white boy, for free back then. By the way there was no such thing as HIV and I never used a condom pre 1985. Yeah, these were great memories, but that is all they are. You can't compare yesterday with today. What is the point?

Let's face it guys; the western world is running down. The dollar is in virtual freefall, Europe is no more, and none of us are getting any younger. It has been a good run for the USA, being at the top since the end of WWII, but all that is slowly ending. Tough shit. I say that sadly because I am an American. Oh well, this all reminds me of the ancient rocker by the Police:
'When the world is running down.
You make the best of what's still around.
When the world is running down.
You make the best of what's still around.
When I feel lonely here, don't waste my time with tears.
I run 'Deep Throat' again, it ran for years and years.
Don't like the food I eat, the cans are running out.
Same food for years and years, I hate the food I eat.
When the world is running down.
You make the best of what's still around.
When the world is running down.
You make the best of what's still around'
