I flew home early Wednesday morning, Sept. 28, 2011 with a flu. I think I caught it the day earlier in El Centro while walking and window shopping with novia and just got over it today, Saturday, Oct. 01, 2011, having recovered completely. I totally put the blame on way too much rain in MDE and the difference in climate between it and So. California. Back to the trip. Everytime I come to Medellin, I catch cold / flu while the temparature in Medelline is higher than the temparature in my home town in general. But it gets chilly significantly in the night in Medellin. Plus, it is rainning all the time. I suspect that viruses and bacteria are very different from those in the USA Though I have flu shots before going to Medellin, they do not seem to be working. Plus, the car emission is scarcely regulated in Medellin, and the air is very poluted, which causes various infections. I would appreciate any suggestion for cold prevention in Medellin.

Yea, this kind of stuff is no Joke! I don't know why anyone would think that is funny regardless of if your drunk or not. You can get in serious trouble with that kind of behavior regardless. There is nothing to do about it unless you are willing to not do DATY or DFK. Then why pay thousands of dollars to travel? Even then just being on an airplane or around new germs will increase your chances of getting sick by 100. A good trip for me is when I get sick afterwards not during and certainly not before.

This is an ongoing saga with me that I accept as an international traveler. What blows is when you only have a one week trip and you get sick. Luckily I do long trips so the occasional two weeks of being sick doesn't ruin everything for me.

Bring a multi vitamin with an extra B complex supplement and stay someplace where you can *sleep. Do not cheap out on lodging when sleep deprivation might be an issue. Do bring enough warm sleeping clothes. I can't stress this enough. You will never have enough blankets. Your sleep clothes are your blankets. A hooded sweatshirt is vital.

It's rough. I have suffered dearly with colds / flu's while traveling.

ez[/quote]i don't know if admin has seen this, but this is illegal. as far as i know, posting about **** activity is not allowed on his site. besides, it is just plain wrong for an older man to sleep with a 15 year old. i don't care if colombian men do it, that does not make it right or ok. i have a teenage daughter, and i am telling you this is just a very wrong thing to do. there are plenty of of beautiful women in colombia over 18 and absolutely no reason for this to occur with a minor. making a mistake one time is one thing, but repeating it would make you a sick fuck.
