Villa Victoria
Having RTFF I find various information about Villa Victoria (Hotel Victoria) in Lockhart Road, Wanchai but I was told that they are sort of chain and that there is also a Villa Victoria in Tin Hau or North Point.
Can anybody help on the address and what the current going rates are.
Many thanks
[blue]Greetings Everyone,
I recently cleaned up this thread by deleting a number of off-topic and otherwise worthless posts by SE Asia Joe, as well as a number responses made by other forum members to these deleted posts.
Members are encouraged to use the "Report Post" link to report EVERY instance of antagonistic behavior exhibited by SE Asia Joe.
This cleanup process is not perfect, and it's possible that I may have inadvertently deleted a few otherwise legitimate posts. If you find that your own report was also deleted, please don't take it personally.
Thanks,
Jackson[/blue]
Thank you Jackson, you have done us a big favour!
Pita, I must agree with you. I have re-read Chantik's pragmatic remarks I simply do not see an "hard edge" to what she says (same for her many other posts).
Anyway, to all, be well and enjoy New Year.
I have personally met Chantik and can verify her authenticity.

Many thanks
Google is your friend. Nobody here knows the street address without looking it up, we just know the cross streets or location relative to other landmarks.
There are two in Tin Hau, one across from Tin Hau MTR Station and the other on Electric Road just west of Victoria Park.
Unlike other hotels, the VV rates are not negotiable. Depends whether you want 2 or 3 hours and the time of day, it'll be between $280 and $380 if memory serves.
Ah, Gaijin Gigolo (sigh).
I would refer you, and any doubters, to the numerous posts from esteemed ISGers who know, up close and personal, that Chantik is very real.
I nearly met up with the lovely (judging from her website) lass myself, sadly missing out, before departing HK, but hold out hope for the future.
If Chantik is a ruse, it would be a rather elaborate one involving punters whose comments I enjoy reading, and prefer to believe in.
Gaijin Gigolo is an idiot who projects confidence and arrogance to mask the fact that he is an insecure fool who contributes nothing at all to the board. He doesn't know how to handle a beautiful, classy, confident woman like Chantik so he goes on the attack as a defense mechanism. He has no actual basis for his claim regarding Chantik. Whereas I have met her in person as have others on the board.

Whatever
No, what you said was: Seems like a few more of the ladies are choosing to go to Amazonia, instead of Escape.
Which is simply not true. And I never said that Escape is the 'most professional. ' You have a bad habit of reading more into what people are saying than they actually are, mate.
And I was at both places last night, as a matter of fact.
It helps if you carefully read my post.
The ladies go where they can get business.
And I said some of the ladies that go to Escape are going to Amazonia and Joe Bananas.
And guys have recently posted that Wanchai has been quiet.
Escape has been very quiet since Mid December. Its starting to pick up slowly. Escape gets lots of business travellers. So in the period till mid / end January, ladies will go to other places.
Agree about the bands at Amazonia. I was rocking there on Saturday night. And it was full.
Agree that Escape is the most professional of all the bars.
Seeing that I have friends in the industry. Think I have some idea of what is happening in the bars.
And by the way. When was the last time you visited Escape and Amazonia?

Wondering what you expected to find, exactly. I imagine you WERE disappointed if you were hoping for a room full of models and / or cute college age girls. There are some real gems to be found at all the clubs you mentioned, trust me on that.
I had no specific expectations only a desire to find someone that I found attractive. To a different point: I do not care how they are dressed and prefer if they do not have a lot of makeup. I am not attracted only to models and they do not have to be particularly young (I did not see anyone who was too old for me). But, yes, I was looking for a "gem" (in my very personal opinion) not a plain stone to use your metaphor.

Let me give the address for the Victoria Hotel in Wanchai: 215 Lockhart Road in the Lap Tak Bldg, corner Flemming Road.
As to Electric Road, could you please advise more landmarks closer to the hotel because Electric Road is a few kilometers long and starts actually at Tin Hau MTR station exit A2 and ends in North Point.
I was factoring in a 30 percent discount for a hotel stay of a month or more, which I get in BKK. So a 100 USD HKG hotel would be 2100 a month, a bit over 2K.
BTW in BKK my laundry & dry cleaning bill is about $3 a day or under 100 a month. The hotel does it for me. I don't know what it would cost in HKG, but in Canada that would run me closer to $1000.
Laundry shops in HK charge around 30 HK$ for 7 pounds.
You could probably find a 15 sqm serviced apartment for 2000 US$, but nothing of the size you require. Apartments in Wanchai sell at 12000 HK$ per sqft, one only gets about 70% of the area you buy, the rest is public area counted into your space.
Now do the maths: 15 sqm net is 160 sqft., which would result in a sold size of 230 sqft. costing about 2.75 mio HK$. A 3% return on that would be 7000 HK$ per month. They need to furnish it and don't get 100% occupancy. Then there is administration overhead, management fees and a profit and taxes. So it could end up at 15000 HK$ rent, bills extra. If you add 1000 US$ per month and you have plenty of choices.
If you were to live somewhere in the boonies (a 150-200 HK$ taxi ride to Wanchai if you need to go by taxi), prices could be half.
Medical is extremely cheap for residents, but extremely expensive for non residents. You would have to get a travel insurance at least. (Hospitalization for residents 100 HK$ per night, about 3700 HK$ for non residents).
I like Hong Kong any given day over Thailand (You can buy beer every day any time, some bars are open 24/7 and there is way less cheating going on), because everything besides accommodation is affordable here. I own the place I live in and bought it at times when it was affordable. Next to free medical here and if I need nursing some day, I can employ a helper for about 500 US$ a month. Not to speak about the almost non existing taxes.
In the Philippines you may end up one day with a bullet in your head. No thanks.

Just input your address to see where you are then the address you want to go to e. G. Electric road. I find the tram the best way to travel on HK island, goes almost the length of the island and anywhere you want to go is not to much of a walk from the tram line.
Of course there will always be that odd place you want to get to that may be off the beaten track.
MTR is also a good way to get around and the girls advertisements often note the train station and exit nearest their place of business.

It's on the same side of the road as Escape and Bar 109. From the MTR its about 100 metres. You cross one set of lights (Fleming road ).
If you are taking a girl from Wanchai she will know where to go.

Gajin.
Can you give the guys a quick report on the crowd / vibe at Escape / Amazonia last night.
One or two sentences will be enough.
-
Gajin.
You don't seem to understand there is a crack-down on ladies in Wanchai.
Why do you think Nep 2 closed down?
Why were guys posting that when they were leaving Nep 2. Security stopped them and asked to see their hotel keys.
Bars are being very cautious. That's a fact.
And Escape used to be Fenwicks (which was closed). So they 100% will be cautious.
And the rules Escape are applying for ladies is correct. That's one of the reasons some will visit Amazonia / Joe Bananas first hoping to get a short time and then visit Escape.
I don't post this kind of information without double checking my sources.
Flew in late on Sunday night and had a few hours in wan chai.
Amazonia and escape appeared to be the main traffic.
Escape had the better looking girls IMHO.
Neptune was dead and the street traffic was the standard wan chai wrestling match.
Fell into one mama bar that was dead and the mama threw four girls at me and they all wanted a lady drink. All Thai girls ranging from 4-6. With bad lighting. As they were not that expensive I said sure and ended up with four very brief BBBJ's to say thanks for the drinks. A little fun for less than the cost of a lap dance back home.
Then the hard sell from the mama which I really hate so ended up leaving there and heading back to my hotel.
Ended up calling a 141 outcall massage who was great value and gave a good professional massage followed by an expert BBBJ with CIM.
Wan chai is really so easy to monger any way you like it.
Good to see your night ended up well!
The two worst nights to go to Wanchai are Sunday and Monday.
