I am just saying pay attention to your surroundings in Manila and keep your wits about you. Look, I have travelled all over the world and have done some stupid things that got me in hot water. So, I have found after years of experience, that if you don't look for trouble, you usually won't find it. But, if you are looking for trouble yes, it will find you.

Again, what I am trying to say is: AC is perfectly safe for mongerer's. It is as safe as Pattaya or Penh. And is the perfect town to break your Philippine cherry in.

AC and Pattaya (to name but two) are the Walmart of mongering destinations in SE Asia, a one-stop-shop for guys who want everything laid out on a plate and are too lazy or afraid to venture out into the boondocks where Asia's real hot spots await. Of course, there's nothing wrong with the Walmart-approach to mongering, but it's a bit rich to sit there surrounded by all the comforts of home and expect more intrepid mongers who have probably followed innumerable duff leads over time and ventured to Promised Lands that have proved apocryphal, to simply spill the beans for all and sundry when they eventually find a hidden gem. Just my opinion.

I would not call these girls 'sophisticated' or even beautiful. They reminded me of the Philippine version of the girl next door gone bad. I took them as they were and I loved them. I think the trick to enjoying AC is 1. Don't stay too long (5 or 6 days max) and 2. Find something to do until 5pm. I spent my mornings on the computer, then I had the ABC limo guy drive me up to Nepo to have lunch and I would walk back to Fields (a good hike) , and then I would relax and flirt with the ABC pool bar girls until it was time to head out to the bars. When I left AC and first travelled down the palm lined high rise boulevards of Makati and entered the opulent and luxurious lobby of the New World Hotel; it was like travelling to another planet, but I had a good time in AC.

There are plenty of places all over the world for cheap pussy. Just as Amjeck found them. Others will when or if they really have a desire. Its not like there is a Monger area where everyone is sworn to secrecy.

Guys don't go only because it has cheap pussy. People go because of the ABUNDANCE of choice one has. There is pussy to be had all over the PI. Everyone knows it. But no where has the NUMBERS of girls that AC has in that small of an area.

Sure people go to AC because its cheap. But that also why one can AFFORD to do the extras like buying LD's for several girls.

I stayed in Makati and security was everywhere. I felt pretty safe. Havana Cafe right in Greenbelt 3 across the street from my hotel was 100% safe. I paid 2000p for LT there. In Greenbelt 3, from the two coffee shops on either side of Havana Café, there was an interesting mix of girls. Burgos is a little dicier but still a lot of fun and safe if you know what you are doing and don't start wandering to far afield.

So back to AC: the small party time bars are great and a lot of fun. It is completely safe unless you start behaving foolishly and wander off the strip at night in the dark. Don't try to make friends with the local Filipinos. Mind your own business and keep your eyes on the prize. The girls. You won't have a problem. My favorite bars were Gecko, Dirty Duck, Lollipops, Body Shop (on Real Street one block over from Fields) , and Emotions on Perimeter. There were a ton of bars I just did not have time for. Next trip! Every girl I made it with in AC was GFE and 1500p LT. I don't know. What more does a first time visitor want? Go to AC and if you need go to Lost in Asia. They open at 2 pm and they located on Perimeter Road and talk to Spike or Duke. Sit down at the big table and they will really help you and answer any questions you may have.

Right next to Lost in Asia (in middle of the plaza) is Afterschool, another afternoon bar which is quite fun. Mirrors at the Clarkton (next lot past the plaza opens at 3, so that gives you a cluster of 3 good afternoon bars (Roadies, the other bar in the complex, gets thumbs down from those in the know). There are advantages to going early, before the regulars (Perimeter places tend to have more regular clientele than the Lower fields area places) arrive and snap up the best girls. I flew Cebu Pacific from Macau to Clark. It was a great flight. I arrived in AC at 11:50pm and went through customs in seconds (literally). I was picked up by the ABC limo, checked into my hotel and was back out on Fields before 12:30AM. I am finalizing my trip report now and will post it soon. I had a great time.

Fengshui, listen to Robbaf if it is not too late. He knows what he is talking about. But if you are firmly committed to Manila, then don't give it another thought. You are going to have a good time either way. I guarantee it.
