He has also started to date Facebook girls this is why I mentioned he is moving toward your end of spectrum. These are the examples of learning and improvements. I don't think I am on his side. It depends on the topic. I am on your side on what you trying to explain to him but everybody is different because I also have similar conversation you mentioned in your posts but the outcome is different

Story #1 is more interesting, and I get it. The thing about it is you are conditioned to be a john, and I was too. Mr. E rode me for doing the same thing, and he was right. Unlike everyone else here, Mr. E seems to be able to get in and out of the john role with ease. He griped at me for doing that with my current gal, and the second time I saw her I did not put money in her purse at the end of the night. I wanted to see if she was about the money and she kept going on with me anyway, and she did.

So she is 21, and she runs a charity at that age. It is amazing right? It turns out she works at some credit bureau and makes more than any other woman I met which back then was $900 a month. So I meet her, and the weird part is she asks me to help with some advanced science questions which I do. When I first saw her, she did not take my breath away. She was actually dressed almost hooker like with short blue jean shorts.
We have sex and it is good not great, but it is bare and the only remarkable thing I remember about her was how this woman has unreal strength.
We go to dinner and she dolls herself up and looks great but she does not talk much at dinner. There is a band playing we start to dance and again this is where the beauty queen thing kicks in. She dances a notch below professional level and everyone is starting at her. We go out to the Walled City and there are more stares and she has an encyclopedic knowledge of the city. We go back to the hotel and she is going to stay the night. She tells me I need to take a shower which is fine. She is in bed and when I return she is asleep. So I call a woman who I am closer to. She overhears my talking to another woman and slams the door and leaves. I shrug my shoulders and laugh and say, "Well, I just fucked a beauty queen for nothing. ".
I guess she expected me to call her back. A month passes and she texts me. I call her out for her behavior and she apologizes. A few months pass, and she says she is going to get a master's degree and asks for some help with some items. If she asked for cash, I would not send it but it is like a laptop and a few other education related things, so I do it.
So I was in other parts of Colombia and offered to fly her in and she would say yes than back off. In hindsight, I get she did not want to feel like a hooker I was flying in. She would have if she felt like she was one of many, but at that point, I was like, "No, I am giving you a chance at me. " You need to get off our lofty perch Ms. Cartagena and compete. So we never meet again.
I never talked about this because the morons here would have missed the point. They would have called her hooker and said I was simping for her by buying her the items for school. What that really tells me is these morons could never get a woman like her. Even JJBee is here saying guys cannot get a strata 6 woman. No, you morons cannot because you do now know how to play in the big leagues. They are going to compare her to their casa and el centro women.
But the final story on this is I tried to set her up with a friend of mine. She agreed but her heart was not in it and she said, and there was no reason for her to lie as she knew I was with someone else, that she loved me, and I realize now that she did.
Knowing what I know now about Colombian women, I was probably the second or third guy she slept with and being in the situation she was in she did not know how to treat a man. It would have been helpful for her to hang around hookers and strippers in the sense that their livelihood is based on pleasing men. I think if she does not learn that she will never get a man to love her. She can easily get guys to fuck her but not love. She is too bossy and full of herself to put someone else first nor understand why she SHOULD do that.
In high school, we did this musical called Kiss Me Kate and it is a based on the book Taming of the Shrew which was also being covered in my English class, so I got a double dose of the story. The story is this guy marries this super hot woman no one wants even though she is a great beauty because she is such a shrew or beetch. The taming part is the guy training this woman, and he puts her through hell, and she finally comes around. In fact, she shows more loyalty to him in the end than the supposedly nicer women that were more sought after. This behavior, torturing a woman to kill that inner beetch, was accepted back then, and women have not changed that much. A shit load of them needs this kind of treatment and when they do not get it, they are miserable and alone.
I think the thing is you have to have the woman buy into there being a benefit with being disciplined. I am not sure you would not end up in jail in the USA if you did this but maybe you could get away with it in Colombia. I don't know.
Thing is when a woman has a kid they are used to putting someone else first. I don't have to be the one that breaks their virginity on life and show them that their career means nothing compared to mine because I will make more in a year or two than you will in your whole life. Your best move is to treat me like gold. This is how women always used to be because for so long, men could do and earn things that they could not. That is the issue I have with young women. Even in Colombia they are trained that they do not need men.

First it's funny that you allude to this LoveIthere69 moron and his friend of a friend's singing neighbors in Thailand to buttress the dramatic claim of "a myriad of risks" when buying property in Colombia. LOL.
There's real risks getting out of bed, and they do exist in buying Colombian real estate, though much of what you mentioned were inconveniences. Risks though can be greatly minimized with good planning, strategies, and hiring the right help. There's a wealth of good information out there.
The proof is also in the pudding, as many, locals and foreigners alike, are doing quite well in the Colombian real estate market, while a self-proclaimed wealthy guy should have no problem laying down 150 K for a very nice place. At this point you'the be pushing halfway covering that after all the money you've spent over five years renting in middling hotels and apartments, without even considering the appreciation.
But your original reason for not buying way back when was because of your distaste for the hills in El Poblado. Being out of shape with a desire to stay that way was the real reason, along with lack of funds, so several years more of renting followed. Renting in a middling neighborhood, taxis and ride share apps, a FB girl occasionally is your lot and will remain so. Spain could have been quite the upgrade, top shelf girls and infrastructure, incredible meals by the sea with no beggars in sight, real cops nearby if you need one, everything a "well off" guy would want, but that's not who you are pal and everyone here knows it. Wink.
