Can anyone local advice me? I plan visit to Shanghai in late Oktober / early November and want to take hotel in Merrylin because sauna there was always good in last ten years visiting Shanghai. But the hotel is not showing on all the booking sites and nobody answer the h]phone as I call.

Has Merrylin / Siyuan shut down for any reason? It is my favorite hotel / sauna I SH so please let me know if closed down.

Not a local but I did not see Merrilyn on Expedia when I was looking at hotels for my current trip. Just book Purple Mountain. Across the street from Merrilyn and only 700 rmb per night for a basic room. I am paying 850 for an executive floor room this week and in includes free wifi and breakfast. Planning on visiting Sauna at Merrylin Tuesday afternoon.

Please report back on hotel and Sauna if they are opened now. I am thinking maybe hotel is shutting for rebuilding because it was due an overhaul for some time. But is the 3 floor sauna open? Maybe you can PM the phone number for me. Thanks.

Made up for it hooking up with a WeChat massage girl. Nice but pricey at 1000 for 1 hour 1 SOG. Pm for contact details. Hoping 1808 Beijing Lu yields better results on Friday.

Noticed that next to Camel Bar on Weifang Lu (near Pudong Nan Lu) there are two (sports) bars: 'One Way Street' and 'Jolly Dragon', with ample female staff (incl. Hot matures). Does anyone know if these girls only serve drinks (at normal prices) or are there other services on / off premises. Clients consist mainly of foreigners, so I was wondering if these are girlie bars since the girls often hang out outside like on Changyi Lu. Thanks.
