Rather than being some guy in a far off land who will likely never visit the Philippines you are accessible. It's the difference between a wish and a likelihood. This counts for a lot on a dating site. Take a look at the competition; do a search for men aged 25-55 living in the city of your choosing, e.g. Manila, Baguio, or wherever. How many non Filipinos do you find? I just did this on DIA for Manila. I checked the first 7 pages on which there are 80 profiles each for a total of 560. The number of non-Asian foreigners? Ten. Then I ran the same search but changed the location from Manila to anywhere in world. In the first 40 profiles there were 10 foreigners. (I'll add that there were a ton a ladyboys and gay-looking blokes in the search results, and this works in your favour since girls running their searches see the same results.) Being here trumps being there, IMO. Now, not all girls are looking for a foreigner. Some prefer an older guy who they see as more stable and less likely to run around with other girls. Other girls don't want an older guy.
I ran a search looking for women 18-32 in Manila whose profiles state they have no children. Of the first 80 results 15 of them I found attractive (pretty face, fair, and thin), in the 6-8 range.
