I'm no expert on the subject but that % you note is not one I am familiar with. My understanding is it ranges the other way from 80% to the girls, down to 50%.

The market (girls) will decide which commission structure or provider works best for them and word of mouth is the biggest marketer in this business.

Obviously the main reason the girls do it is for money. If they don't see money coming their way they will try and look for somewhere else or something else.

Spent a couple of months in Bogota, Dec-March 2020. Initially stayed in an apt (AirBNB) but eventually settled in Hotel San Francisco calle 24 Carrera 10 for about 73,000 a night, or 20 to 25 dollars depending in exchange rate. As background, I turned 63 while I was down there, speak good Spanish and have spent quality time in Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, DR Medellin and Bogota Colombia. At my age I only have desire every third day or perhaps every other day.

One other detail that affects my experience is that I am usually horny in the morning, and a couple of beers and any drugs will put me out of play so to speak. So mornings are naturally best.

I really enjoyed Santa Fe. It is located between Caracas (14) and Carrerra 17, between calles 19 and 24. The "normal" action is between 22 and 24, with Trannies and such-like between 22 and 19.

Anytime I felt like it, say at 10 in the morning, I would take the short walk from Hotel San Francisco down 24 to the Zone. I got to know people, I had a place to sit and drink "tinto" on the corner, bars I knew and girls I knew.

There is everything to choose from there, fat skinny old young black white. There is much craziness packed into those several square blocks, it is impossible to convey that amount of crazy. And not just the women, everything is crazy there.

Without too much effort you could find your 9 or 10 or whatever turns you on, anytime of the day or night up till say 2 am. The going rate was 40 mil, close to 10 bucks, but if I found a nice one that I liked I would give her more.

The majority of women working there now are from Venezuela.

It's all shut down now. Those people have no way to survive now.

I am glad I got to know the Zone in it's glory, it may never return.

Were you discouraged that record companies did the same thing so you did not buy any records? When you look online, chicks willing to show their asses are a dime a dozen and the people that have built the platforms realize that. I see it as whereas some mongers like to overpay chicks, these companies are really only paying them what it is actually worth. And evidently the chicks are fine with the amount they are receiving or they would not be doing it.

When you go to a fast food restaurant and order a drink it costs them about 10 cents, but you are paying $1.50 for it. Where is the discouragement in that?

First, there are 2 different types of platforms here, webcam and livestream.

Webcam platforms are set up as porn sites, all models require validated identification and many payment processors won't deal with them for fear of getting caught up in trafficking laws. Most webcam sites sell tokens for about $0. 08 each. They buy tokens for $0. 05 each. Customer pays $80 for 1,000 tokens, model gets paid $50 for 1,000 tokens. Except the money usually doesn't go to the model. It goes to the studio she probably works for. The studio takes their cut. That share depends on how much the studio provides the model. If she works in the studio's room, they probably take half. If she works in her own apartment, using her own equipment, they may only take 20%, in select cases even less. So a typical webcam model gets 30-40% of what the customer pays.

Livestream platforms are mostly setup for everyone. With a couple of exceptions, no porn allowed, no verified identification. They also require nothing more than a smartphone and internet connection. A smaller percentage of the models need to go through a studio, although there are studios operating on these platforms. The cut taken by the platform is greater than webcam, but varies quite a bit. However, most models don't need to give a share to a studio, so it balances somewhat.

I'm planning a 6 night trip in September for my 40th and hoping the world goes back to semi-normal by then. I have done a lot of reading here, read Routard's guide and been looking around the forum as well. That being said, is this the right venue to ask questions? I don't want to spam the channel with 30+ questions, but I an also looking for information that I don't think is quite addressed in these FAQS.

You can find those all over the world. Just women who reach out to guys wherever they can and convince them to send money for a sex show. Used to be huge in the Philippines, now it seems to be really common in Vietnam.

Even better, there are quite a few escorts who use the livestream platforms to get guys to follow their Snapchat. Besides selling pictures and videos from there, they advertise their travel schedule so guys can come fuck them.

I ended up chatting with one. I said I can't go to your country, then she offered to perform any requests online for money via paypal. I was not interested so I said I would send her some money anyway, how much was the service? She told me it's based on the request. I said show me the receipts so I have an idea on how much to send as I don't want her to perform anything. I was surprised to learn the minimum she showed me was US $50. The highest was $100. Many others in between. I think that is a significant amount of money in Venezuela. This girl looks like a normal girl, a little chubby, the attractive part to me is she looks like a girl next door, and that is it.

It's too early to make predictions. Colombia will most likely open to residents first, and then foreigners. If you're coming from the US, like me, we're on the black list right now due to all the active cases. Things have to settle down everywhere before any traveling happens. I know how you feel, because I had the same idea as I turn 40 this year as well. But, it is what it is. Just be patient. Trust me, the girls will be there when all this is under control. In the meantime, practice your Spanish and read thoroughly through the forum. There's a lot of good guys on the forum that can help with questions, but only if you do your research first. Nine times out of ten, your questions have most likely already been discussed on here.
