Thanks in advance![/QUOTE]I always enjoy going to Adrian Tropical, it is the only restaurant on the ocean side of the Malecon, you can easily walk there from the Riazor / Jaraqua area. Just head west on the Malecon, you cannot miss it but you will take your life in your hands trying to cross the Malecon. Good Dominican food, great views and always a lively, mixed crowd.

Another place that is not mentioned very often is El Conocu. Also Dominican food and a bit of a tourist trap during the day but at night there are many Dominicans there enjoying the atmosphere and the hourly dance show. Located up the the street beside Manolos, just past the Jaguar Apartments. Great place to take a chica, guarantee she will love it.

I was there again last December and found it very expensive and I think over rated. There are better choices in that row of restaurants but wherever you go you cannot beat the atmosphere especially when there is a free concert happening in the Plaza Espana.

The food is very close to what you get in the US. The chicas seem to realy like the place. They eat Domincan alll the time so this is a treat.

OK I'm at the Hilton. The place charges 30 USD for room company. They recommend Doll House. I am really worried all of this will lead nowhere. Can anybody help?

I have eaten great grilled pork ribs in la Sirena with rice and a drink for $6.

I had great ribs on the beach in Sosua, Big D' is the place's name? Also in the public beach in Juan Dolio they serve great grilled meat. I have eaten great grilled meat on street shacks across the city with former novia, ribs, chicken, sausage with guineos verdes, a service for 2 usually was enough to serve 4 for $10 to $12.

There are like 5, 000 links to this map in the forum but go to the reports of dinstinction thread to easily find it.

I once ordered fajitas, my service of meat was only 4 slices of it, but tons of pimientos (green and red peppers). I had a better experience in Chilis of Blue Mall which is at the top of the mall and their terrace has a nice view of the modern part of the city. The play the "happy birthdays" with perico ripiao music.

To be fair I do not care for the Hard Rock Cafe in the states either. The american eateries that I have enjoyed in Santo domingo so far has been TGIF in the acropolis mall and the tony roams on the male con

Can anybody help?[/QUOTE]Went to Doll House about two weeks ago. Wasn't impressed with the talent and walked out. Most of the girls looked barely 18. Anyway, see if you can get to Av Pasteur near the Jaragua and Melia hotels. It's not very far. About 5 good spots close to there. Near there I'd particularly advise Venecia / Lapsus and Sky High. Avoid the Girl's House.

Adrian Tropical is a good restaurant also and is open 24/7.
