There are a lot of Toyota models in Cambo also. A couple of reasons: 1. Toyota makes products that are reliable for many years, kilometers / miles; 2. I've read that Japanese car owners keep a car for only about 5 years before getting a new one. So there are plenty being exported from Japan, which is a lot closer than from the USA (For sure, there are companies in Japan that specialize in exporting used vehicles.) The Cambodians are experts at making older cars look almost new. A Khmer friend of mine bought a Lexus SUV a few years ago that had been imported from the USA With the VIN number, I did a check on the car. It had an excellent service record and no indication that it had been in an accident. Folks who buy a Lexus likely have the $ to maintain same.

I think BKK is the safer bet. But PP is poorer, younger, slimmer, more petite, more desperate. Girls are more curious in PP, and less papmpered, have less income security and appreciate their clients more. Cover as many bars as you can. Most of the selections will be sitting outside at the smaller bars. You will have to go in to the bigger ones to see everyone. Don't feel like you have to stay for a drink in each one. Most of the time I just pop in, have a quick look, and if I don't see something I like I just bail. Take a minute or two.
