One other advice is to make sure the person receiving the money have a way to verify it, like via SMS or online banking. There are instances some cam models request receipts and often deny services because they don't have a way to verify. Also if you are sending a big amount, first send a small amount and confirm if the money has been received first so you know next time you send it, it will definitely go the account.

There also other services such as paypal or some banks even offer direct transfers. But so far Wise have given me the best rates.
