South China - Guangzhou

Ok thanks for the info giuys, but with the crack down going on in CP, I canceld my trip.

If they are trying to discourage people from visiting CP only for monger tourism it worked.

With in 2 hours of my flight I said f it. I could'nt get the money back on my flight and lost 1 night deposit on my hotel but it is better than having blue balls for a few weeks.

My visa is still good for a few months so I will continue to read this forum and when / if things pick up agian I will be there to join you guys.

I find it much more interesting to find mongering opportunities in places where the WG are not obvious. I will try out Cellar first, but sounds like these clubs near the river would be much more fun. Tang and Paddy Field are both ok as they also have a lot of regular office ladies having fun after work there, but KAMA is just plain boring, might as well just go straight to CP for immediate results. WG in the various clubs will eventually gather at KAMA after 2am, so that place have basically the left overs.

What would be an economical means to travel from guangzhou to hongkong to shanghai and back to guangzhou? Three of us - me, girlfriend and 10 yr girl.

7 days travelling with a 10 yr old girl PLUS most probably having jet lag. Then arriving late at night in GZ!!

I'd strongly suggest you guys be a bit conservative and just stay a couple days in GZ, then go by the direct train to Hong Kong for 2 days (HK$230/190@ - details in that url below)), or go on the fast CRH train from GZ to Shenzhen, cross the border and then the MTR in Hong Kong (RMB 95(?) + HK$33),

Then book your trip to Shanghai or Beijing on Ctrip or at a Travel agent in Hong Kong (they usually are quite cheap and inventive on getting good pricing) which open loop to GZ a few hours before your trip back out.

There is really nothing to see in Guangzhou so just stay there for 1 day and then take a 3-hour bus ride down to Zhuhai in the morning and cross over to Macau. Eat some pork jerky and egg tarts and then look at the burnt down church (stroll through the racetrack if you're by yourself). Stay a night if you wish, then if money is no issue, take a helicopter ride over to Hong Kong (which will probably excite the crap out of the 10yr old) or the boring inexpensive way of taking a ferry over to HK.

Stay a few days in HK then fly to either BJ or SH. BJ for more of the historical sites (wall, nests, fish tank & palaces) or SH for the ooohs and ahhhs of tall buildings with shiny lights.

First off I would like to thank everyone that has provided us with all useful information. My company has sent me to Guangzhou for a few weeks, and unforutantely they booked me a room at Guangzhou Hotel. (I think its the one thats right ontop of the subway terminal) I was wondering if there were any recommendations or easy directions as to where I can go from there to have some fun.

I was staying at the China Hotel (Marriott) and needed to bust a nut so I went looking for some action. I found it at a massage parlor called the Leisure Center but it was very disappointing.

DIRECTIONS: Take a left out of the Marriott, walk past the Dong Fang hotel, and take a left at the first road you come to. It is a large six lane road named Renmin Lu that borders a large park called LuiHui Park so you can’t miss it.

Walk down approximately 300 yards, past a silver, futuristic-looking building that house the Guangdong Broadcast Center, continue past a restaurant with a couple dozen tanks holding every type of water create imaginable, until you hit Panfu Daiuju. Take a left at Panfu Daigu and it will be the second building on the left side of the street. The exterior walls are black and a young girl dressed in an evening gown is manning a podium outside the entrance. You can’t miss it.

By the way, across the street in the Sapphire Building is a big sign for another massage parlor on the second floor. I suspect it too offers full service but I didn’t go inside.

Once you walk in, you are escorted to a counter where you are given a elastic bracelet which is your locker key. This counter is also where you pay after you are finished.

You are then lead into a locker room, a male attendant puts your clothes away, gives you a towel, and directs you to the shower. You shower up and are given a pair of flimsy short pants and t-shirt. They charge you 10 rmb, which I thought was a cheesy way to nickel and dime you.

You are then escorted to another area filled with lazy boy chairs with TVs where a mama-san will greet you and take your order.

The mama-san was very nice but spoke very, very, very, very little English. This seemed to be a business geared for the Chinese locals. I was given a menu with set prices. The “Thai Message” for 368 RMB that is for full-service.

The mama-san walks you upstairs to an area of small rooms. Some rooms have massage tables; some have beds. “Thai massage” buyers are taken to a room with a bed. These rooms, by the way, do not have toilets so make sure you [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url]/shit before you come upstairs.

After a few minutes, a girl shows up by herself. Not bad….but not awesome either. I send her away in hopes of getting something better but won’t leave. I signal again for her to go away and this time she leaves. But returns with the mama-san who hand signals that this is the only woman I can have.

I thought about leaving then and there, but she was okay (probably a 6 or 7) and I was horny so I accepted her.

Big mistake.
