This site is completely safe to use a credit card. I paid for my registration through CC only and had no issues. They have a secured gateway. Just make sure the details you enter for the CC are intact or in other words, don't conflict.

With due respect to you, this is not a contact providing site but a contact sharing site. More like. You will not lend your bike to an unknown person but you can always to a friend, for which the friends helps you out later.
On the brighter side, seniors will definitely help you out once you are able to penetrate into the friends circle I. E prove that you are a serious monger. For this you have to post your thoughts/experiences as often as possible.
But above all, as AllSaints had adviced me, get a PM facility. It is against the rules to provide contacts in the open forum. So even if someone wants to help you out, they will be helpless unless you have PM provision.

If I was not clear in my first post, let me try to make it clear here.
I have been active 2 years back, but a gap of 2 years made almost all the contacts I had not valid anymore. Moreover, most of the MPs got closed in this time period.
I never said, this is a site for exchanging contacts, but I strongly beleive, it is meant for that too, in addition to sharing experience. If not, please correct me.
I have contacted a couple of seniors, unfortunately those contacts are either not active or they need a reference.
Finally, I do have a PM facility and anyone can do the same to me.

Held on charge of women trafficking

CHENNAI: The Crime Branch CID police arrested Poonga Venkatesan of Madambakkam, who was involved in trafficking women from neighbouring States and forcing them into flesh trade.
According to an official release, Additional Director-General of Police (CBCID) Archana Ramasundaram formed a special team of the Anti-Trafficking Cell police to investigate complaints of women trafficking. The team arrested Venkatesan’s car driver, Mani, on the OMR when he handed over a woman to a decoy on August 6. A car was seized from him.
Upon further investigation, police rescued two more women forced into prostitution from a private resort on the East Coast Road. A case was registered against the resort manager for deliberately allowing the illegal business.
Following a tip-off, police intercepted a car on the GST Road near Guindy on Monday and arrested Venkatesan. A victim who was with him in the car was taken into custody and referred to a home. Another car that was in possession of the accused was also seized.
Police searched a house occupied by Venkatesan in Madapakkam and seized a wrist watch worth Rs. 17,000, a motorcycle, three-sovereign gold chain and a couple of mobile phones.
Venkatesan, who managed to evade arrest, was involved in about 15 cases of trafficking offences in the last five years, the release said.
While it is illegal for trafficking in women, what purpose do the items seized have on the case, I wonder? Why it is illegal to possess the items listed in the Hindu? As mongers here know, for the prices we usually see being charged, the value of the seized items may even imply that his business is not doing very well!! Did they arrest a "small-fry" just to show that they are on the job?

Hey! All you Chennai mongers. Sad to know the scene these days is a bit sad out there. I used to live in Chennai before, now in Bangalore where I beleive the scene is a trifle better. Anyway whatever happened to all the old Anglo Indian places in Pallavaram, Thomas Mount or Veprey? Have they all dried up? And what bout the filmy extras in Kodambakkam? Coming to Chennai soon. Grateful if you could brief me on the scene out there.
Today was wandering around to get some hook. But nothing struck.
While having coffee, was running thru the contact list on my mobile and stuck on a number of a lady who offers massage at home (got it long back from paper advt but never tried), tried the number and it was still alive but nobody pciked up.

Wanted some water. She cooly asked me to help myself. Wrapped towel around and moved towards her dining room, hearing the sound (maybe) the maid came and helped me out. Sensed something. And while giving the empty glass. Rubbed her hands. Good response. Moved little more and she said no not for next 3 days! Back in the room while settling the money. Mentioned about the maid girl. Seems like she is on periods. And can have her on Monday. Am taking leave on Monday.
