I also could never understand why in a country like Nicaragua the hotel prices and the girls were so expensive compared to Colombia. It is the second poorest country in the hemisphere.
Same goes for Haiti which is even poorer.
There's a surfeit of cheap places. What these countries don't have is mid-range hostelry. Without mass market tourism, they're not needed. Just cheap for the locals, and Intercontinental class for the expense accounters.

The high prices are exclusively for foreigners. There are so few hotels in those countries that prices per room are high. Perhaps someone could explain Argentina, prices were good for me when I went there which was until 2010.

Hotels are cheap and plentiful near the action, and you can have any type of girl you want for peanuts. BA runs the gamut in hotel prices, but with places like Haiti, Nicaragua, and west Africa, it's best to ask a local. A few years back, I was in Nicaragua just before the uprising happened. I took a bus from Managua to Granada, and was dropped off in the evening without having a place to stay. I asked the first local walking by where to find a cheap place. He took me to a guy who was running a converted house with three rooms. The price was seventeen bucks a night. I happened to get lucky getting that cheap room, plus the guy I asked on the street turned into my unofficial guide for the cost of a bottle of rum. To top it off, I ended up hooking up with the maid who took care of the place. I'm glad too because the mongering is slim pickings in Nicaragua. With the high quality, many options, and low prices in Colombia, I scratched Central America off my list. Even CR is too expensive in comparison. Colombia is definitely the working man's mongering country of choice.

Chica fees?
Anyone know if Chica fees are standard in Bogota? I'm planning on staying at the JW Marriott and I will bring a blazer or small coat for the girl to wear when they come back TLN, but wondering what the policy is there.

It's a win / win. I always do ST rooms right there, but I asked at Oceania for the hell of it in case I found a great one about bringing girls back. The response was, "It's your room. " That's how you'll get more bang for the buck.

6 hour layover or no
Hello,
I am going to Peru in October and I have the possibility of a 6 and a half hour layover in Bogota. The only reason I would do it is to do a drive-by. My question is that even possible given customs, to and from airport etc. I hope to do an extended trip another time but this time it is Peru. Any advice is appreciated.

I do not recall having to register any of them either. Maybe one time?

I have never seen any mongers or gringos there. It is mostly families and business people. I have never brought hookers there, only normal chicks and was charged. That is why I only stay there now if I plan on being with only 1 chick.

Like I mentioned, I do the deed on site, so never worry about it, but who knows how the policies will change when things come back, which I firmly believe will be next year. With hospital personnel in quarantine and people hanging red bandanas outside their homes because they have no food, the situation is just going down the tubes.

Same here.
Oceania quoted girl entrance fee of 54 K when I asked 5 months ago.
Almost every high end hotel charges high end prices unless they have like a second behind the scenes entrance for you to use.
Exactly this; Place is very nice, price is low and it has restaurants on property. I'm looking to arrange a "girlfriend / s" for the week to help me take advantage of the property, massages, go to the pool, etc. She would go out with me, and then if she helps me score at other places it would increase the propina for each day. I'm in for a mix of pre-arranged, but also looking to go out to bang 2-3 girls per day between casas, clubs, etc.

From my times in Bogota 6 hours wouldn't be enough time to get out of customs, ride the 1 hour in traffic to wherever you're planning to have a quickie, then back to the airport. The process of getting through security at bog to depart can be very long. I spent about 2 hours once between arriving at the airport and getting through all security.
You're also adding a second country to the mix that may not let you in due to covid 19.

If Santa Fe opens up you can be there in 20 minutes from airport. Another possibility is La Mezzanine in the north and depending on the hour you can be there in 45 minutes. Never have spent more then 1 hour getting to my gate. 6 hours should be plenty of time to bang 1 or 2 girls.
Argentina has the most beautiful women in the world. My best mongering was in Buenos Aires up to 2010.
My two cents, I was in BA in 2011 for work, didn't know much about the apartments there, so just checked in the news paper and found one near my hotel. It was a really big apartment in an old but very well maintained building. I went up and sat down, a drink was offered. The "madam" was very friendly and kept on asking what kind of girls I would like so she could filter the presentation because there were more than 15 girls. I told her I want them young, slim and pretty. She laughed but then she came back with such a beauty. 18 years old, natural blonde, white skin, lovely smile, a bit cold but she was so pretty. I told her she is perfect and then the madam took me to a room, a big room with a big bed and dimmed lights. She offered BBBJ or condom BJ and I told her BBBJ. It was rare that this was offered because in Bogotá at the time it was rare for working girls to do BBBJ. Anyhow I paid, madam left and then comes the pretty blond dressed in a white transparent negligee with matching g-string panties. She was so incredible beautiful. We talked a bit, then we kissed, then we touched a bit and then she went for the condom to do BJ but I told her I had agreed with the madam on BBBJ, she said ok, and started a wonderful wet BBBJ. Then we had sex in several positions, she let me DATY and even touch her asshole a bit. She seemed new to the business although you never know. I asked if I could come on her boobs and she said ok, so condom out and I finished on her boobs and then she sucked me a bit more. Gave her a tip and off I went. Tried next day but she was not there and then my trip was over. Great experience. Can't remember the price exactly but it was around 40 USD.
