This is a more 'private' part, with all ground floor rooms and direct access to a swimming pool that is exclusively for the guests of this part of the hotel – and of course, for the guests of the guests. During the low season, they have a special promotion, and the rooms there were available for 1'850 Baht / night, instead of the 3'050 Baht during Peak season or 2'750 Baht during the High season. The whole hotel is girl-friendly, no joiner fee, and not hassle at all. They also refrain from the humiliating procedure of collecting the I'd, which is preferable for me. Each guest of the Ruen Thai Paradise part may officially bring two 'guests'. I will definitely chose the Sabai Resort again, and most likely the Ruen Thai Paradise area, where you also have free of charge WLAN Internet access. The access was not always very stable, but when I told them, the reset the router, and then it worked again.

In my opinion, the only disadvantage of the Sabai Resort is the longer distance to the beach – if you like to go there – and that (too) many baht taxis in Second Road are heading towards Naklua, rather than turning into Beach Road. This means that it is best to walk down from Second Road through Soi 3 or Soi 2 towards Beach Road and catch the baht taxi there.

In the evenings, I went to the Walking Street. I usually enjoy my dinner alone. It is cheaper and less trouble. I only eat with a girl, if we have a special relationship. Actually, once some years ago, I ignored this rule and brought a nice girl from Happy A Gogo to the Nang Nual Restaurant. We had a nice seafood dinner. But all of a sudden, she said 'hurry up, you are wasting my time, I want to go back to the bar after our boom boom'. You guess what I told her? She can go immediately and does not need to waste any time further.

Well today, after dinner, I strolled through several bars. Many of them were quite empty – almost no guests and only very few girls. However, I found then a cutie at the Happy A Gogo. She must be around 21 years young and has fabulous tits. I knew immediately that I wanted her. After she finished her dancing, she came to me, and after a drink, it was clear that she is going to accompany me. We took the baht taxi to my hotel. There, she seemed a bit tired, but the shower woke her up. She was not too much into it, though. She only wanted to give a CBJ, and then, I rather don't want it. She did not like too much when I licked her tits and nipples. And also, when I gave her a DATY, she felt rather ticklish than exited. This is a typical behavior of a (too) young girl. Anyhow, compared to other places, I consider you get better value there than in some other places. Then, I did some bar hopping again. To my disappointment, one of my favorites, Club Boesché seems to be closed. I checked also on other days, but it was still closed. I am not sure whether or not it is due to the low season and whether it will ever open again. A few other impressions: Living Dolls was just average. Peppermint had little action, but a few cuties. Shark Club on top of Soi Diamond has a few cuties, but some of them are very young. I had one of 19 years only, and her performance was pretty poor, so I kept it ST. More and more bars have now the 'bathtub show' with girls enjoying themselves under the shower or in a bathtub or similar. Topless is the standard in both, Bangkok NEP and Pattaya. In some places (more often in Pattaya) you find full nude. And one of the 'wildest' bars is definitely Windmills, a bit behind in Soi Diamond. They also have the girl-on-girl show, and if you are lucky, you get involved. I was lucky. So, I could give the two girls on stage an intensive DATY – with all the spectators around. Then, one of them grabbed the banana. I put it into my mouth and did her with the banana. Pretty amazing feeling for me (and perhaps for her). After that, I took banana into my hand and did her doggy with the banana. I had the impression that she even enjoyed! Not too bad for a small tip of 100 Baht, which she gladly accepted.

Since my last visit, perhaps 2 ½ years ago, there are also a number of new bars, like the Baccarat, the Fahrenheit, Iron, the Alcatraz, etc. Not all are really my style. I prefer the older style, where the girls dance on a small stage and you are close, very close to them. Many of the new bars are more anonymous, and there is less 'contact' with the girls, which means – in my opinion &8722; less fun. Nevertheless, one of the newer ones is still one of my favorites, the Airport Club in Walking Street. They have some 'bathtub' girls, and some of them are quite pretty. Similar applies to the Iron Club.

One of the new clubs, however, I started to like is the Fahrenheit. Actually, on my last day, I picked a cutie there, and I regret that I did not find her earlier. I trust, we would have spent a few days together. So I look forward to doing this when I am back in town. In Fahrenheit, I also had seen a few days before a totally stunning girl. She has an absolutely perfect body, huge and perfectly shaped tits and a beautiful face. So, I was about to call her to sit with me, but – bad luck – another monger, actually a pretty old fellow was a bit faster. He was standing at the bar, and when she came, she stayed with him. I tried to find her again on the following day, but she was not there anymore. I am afraid that the old fellow did what I also would have done in such situation: he most likely kept her for the rest of his stay. Since this all happened on my second last and last day, I had no further opportunity to look for her. So, I can only look forward to my next visit.

There are also bad experiences, however. For instance, Rhino Club, which obviously tried to cheat me. When I arrived, two quite nice girls joined me. But without even asking, they got each a drink, which ended up – of course – on my bill. I was a little bit drunk, and probably they thought I am an easy target. I did not complain, this time, since the girls were really quite nice. However, then a third girl arrived, and again without my confirmation, a drink arrives for her. I refuse and tell the waiter that I did not order this. He takes the drink back, but grabs my bill – obviously to put the drink nevertheless onto my bill. Well, even when I am a bit drunk, when cheated, I get highly alert. So, I took the bill out of the waiter's hands, so he could not add anything further. Of course, I decided to leave such place, the earlier the better. However, when I checked my bill, I still found Lady Drinks on it, besides my beer. That means, they had already cheated me before the 3rd drink arrived. It seems that they actually wanted to charge me with 4 Lady Drinks, of which I had accepted in best case the first two. So, I told the waiter that I am going to pay only 2 Lady Drinks and that I had not ordered the rest. Well, finally he had to accept. Nevertheless, I recommend to avoid Rhino, or if you still want to go there – at least check your bill carefully. And if any Lady Drinks arrive that you have not ordered or not accepted, then you shall refuse them immediately and tell the waiter that you did not order them.

In general, Pattaya is still very much alive, but in most of the bars, there are fewer people than during the high (er) seasons. Therefore, the ratio between girls and punters is pretty favorable. On the other hand, I tried once to go to Naklua, which is a bit north of the main areas. However, I returned immediately to the main action area in Walking Street, since there was almost no action in Naklua at all.

Besides the Nang Nual restaurant further down Walking Street, I also tried Sea Zone at the beginning of the Walking Street. The food was ok, the service average, but the prices rather high. In my impression they are higher than at the Nang Nual. On some other days, I tried the 'J' Noy Seafood Restaurant, which claims to celebrate the 55th anniversary. The food was good, but I did not have the impression of particularly favorable 'anniversary' prices. On another day, I tried the Food Fair Seafood restaurant. The service was average and the food taste as well. So, I believe I will stick to the Nang Nual in future.

A few words about girl's prices. Most of them charge 2'000 for ST and 3'000 for LT. This is mostly standard in all the gogo bars. A few exceptions charge only 1'500 for ST and 2'500 for LT (for instance some girls in the Shark Club above Soi Diamond). These prices are more or less equal in Bangkok and Pattaya. In addition comes – at least for the gogo bars – the barfine of currently 600 in virtually all places. I normally don't negotiate a lot for the girl's prices. If I like her, I take her and don't want to spoil the good mood with negotiations. If I don't like her, why should I take her for a cheap price? There are plenty others.

A word about Secrets. This is a hotel and bar, near the Walking Street, in Soi 14. Normally, there are also some touts in the Walking Street, promoting the bar. It is a nice place to relax, possibly play some games with the ladies and drink an inexpensive draft beer, listening to the background music. They also have a few dancers, but non-nude. The dancers are nice young girls. The other ladies are also nice, and actually I had some of the best experiences with some of them. However, they all have had a child or children and, hence, their bodies are not so perfect anymore. However, they tend to be much more decent usually speak some acceptable English. I experienced that some of them are the hottest girls in bed that I ever met in Pattaya. Really wild.

The FLB Bar is yet another bar, where you may relax and play some games, listening to background music and regularly also live music. Again, the girls might not be the prettiest or the youngest in town, but they tend to be rather decent. Not all speak English very well, however. Nevertheless, I had some great fun there as well, and I am glad that there are such places as well.

Talking about all the wild nights, I should not forget that this takes a toll. I normally am a bit exhausted, after 4 or 5 nights. Then, I am glad that there is something like Cialis. For those who are also interested: it's very easy to obtain in Pattaya, without any prescription. However, I normally buy the India-made replacement 'Apcalis'. So far, I had exactly the same effect, for far less money spent. One box (4 pills) sells for 500 baht (which is still a bit expensive). If you buy larger quantities, they need to order (takes 15 to 30 minutes until arrival) , but then you get it down to 300 baht per box. Perhaps, you might even negotiate further down. And where do you get it? There is a small pharmacy ('Bee Pharmacy') , just near the corner of the Beach Road, where the Walking Street begins. It is only about 20m from the beginning of the Walking Street, just adjacent to the Bamboo Entertainment, on the side closer to Walking Street.

Yes, and one other thing I should not forget to mention. Due to the season in July, almost every evening or night there was some rainfall. Usually, the rain was very strong but did not last for too long.

Here are the numbers of some girls with good and bad experiences – perhaps this helps someone:

Good: #30 Carousel.

Bad: #21 from Airport; #4 Shark Club.

Now, I am back home and look forward to my next visit to the exciting Pattaya. I trust this is in the not too distant future.

The one thing they did not have back then was a gym, do they have one now? As far as the LT prices, I've taken girls on 4 out of 5 nights from go-go's, paid 3 of them 2000 and one 1500. Sometimes they quote 2500 but very easily settle for 2000. I have discussed LT prices with at least 10 girls on this visit and all have readily agreed to come for 2000 (not including the 600 barfine). And I am quite choosy, if I don't see someone who's really hot and I fancy, I don't mind coming back alone. Yes, I found ST prices are standard 1500. Just my observation to aid fellow mongerers in any way I can.

Started near my hotel, soi LK, Office first, then tried Oasis, both were below average on girl quality (maybe it was still early, before 9). In Oasis, the girls are friendly and come and talk to you, service is nice, but left after 1 drink. Thought I'd hit the soi 7 & 8 bars. First Club 23, this club is quite big inside, with stage for girls to dance, few pool tables and a huge lounging area. Played few games of pool, bought a drink for a girl I liked, however rule there was barfines after midnight only, so thought I'd come back to barfine her if I found nothing else. Next Silver Star 2 go-go in soi 7, very average selection, next Sexy Girls on soi 8, even worst, finally went back to WS. Entered Sweethearts go-go. I remembered this place, I had barfined a girl from here for 3 nights during my last visit (4 years ago). The one thing I liked about this place is it plays my kind of music (60's to 90's rock) , so I had few drinks here, was enjoying myself, saw few doable girls, but I by then I knew I had too much to drink and would immediately pass out on my bed, so didn't bother. One thing I like about this place, they have absolutely no problem with colour, half of their customers were Arabs and Indians, even Indian couples were sitting there (which is rare). This is a smart owner with good business sense, I believe he's Swedish (the girl I barfined last time told me this). The owner personally shook my hand when I left and thanked me for coming. Will definitely go back.

By then it was past 1 and I noticed the discotheques filling up. Entered Insomnia, had 2 more drinks there, saw some above average girls in groups, most hot ones had company. After this, the remaining part of the night was a blur, remember entering Marine disco, it was quite empty. Passed by that Russian girl place (Polo club I think) , had a drink there, they have a lounge which says Thai models or something, sat there watching some average girls poledancing (some hot girls were with other customers, some were at a room in the back, they kept coming out to the bar, so maybe they have private / special rooms inside, was in no state to investigate). There are some good things about not being white and that's in these high-end clubs (or most places for that matter) , the girls think you don't have money (unless you openly flaunt it) , they won't bother you if white folks are around. This place is total rip-off, drinks are more than twice the price (including ladies drinks) , every 10 minutes, a dancer sits on your lap and expects a 50 baht tip. I left after a drink, the girls were too interested in 2 groups of young white guys and I can only imagine how much these guys would have paid. Word of advise, do not climb those stairs up or be prepared for a big, fat bill.

Like they say, a drunk man always finds his way home, I somehow found mine, it was almost 4. This morning when I emptied my pockets, I found a photograph of myself holding a baby python on my shoulders, another with me wearing gloves in a kick-boxing ring, now I'm remembering these things vaguely, truly a very different night out.

I just returned from a weeks trip in Pattaya. Kinda agree with range for the prices for LT. It should be somewhere between 2000 and 3000. But I guess 3000 is still on the higher side. Definitely for one of the best in the best gogo who gets bf-ed every day I guess. 2,500 is something you could always get even in these high end places. Like Baccara, Airport, Peppermint, Whats Up, etc. They start off quoting 3000 LT, but quickly coming down to 2, 500. I ended up barfining one from Baccara last week for this price and she was a stunner (in my book of course.)

From the some of the other gogos like Baby Dolls, Cavern I was even quoted 2000 LT first quote.

Over the last few visits I have been to Pattaya, I am also starting to realize that the price quotes also has to do with the comfort factor be / w the girl and you. I guess most of them quoted 3000 to me and wouldn't come down to 2500. May be they never wanted to be with me in the first place!

Just returned from my 5th visit to Pattaya. So, I am pretty much used to this "door man vetting process" now.

Though I must say this has been the more fairer of the trips. Perhaps attribute it to the low season as my previous trips were in peak seasons. Dec / Jan / Apr etc. Or I am learning more in each trip. In fact I was dressed in my 3/4ths and t-shirt unlike the others where I was in Jeans and T-shirts or Jeans and Party Shirts. I was refused entry at both Farenheit and Alcatraz this time. Of course, I just walked over to the next one. However, some of the other gogos who usually refuse me / ask too many questions (Peppermint, Airport and Happy) didn't have any trouble in letting me in this time around.

I even got 2 other Indian bros whom I met at a bar accompany me to Baccara. They had never been to the GoGos, and I thought I would take them to one for the GoGo experience. The door-guy did go through a lot of questions with 3 of us entering in, with me ensuring him that we were going to buy drinks + I ve been there the previous day, he seemed satisfied enuff. It is sometimes sad, but I do believe the bars need to do their profiling to avoid the 'non-profitable' ones, and sometimes they do go wrong. So you just move on to the next one if refused.

My advice to newbie Indian bros: you are better off doing some research and avoid the ones where you have a greater chance of refusal. Sometimes you tend to carry the frustration in your head to the next gogo and this doesn't help you at all. Because then you start thinking "its them vs. Me". But if you are pretty much the easy going types or you have enuff experience of Pattaya, you could give a try at all gogos and be prepared simply move on to the next one.

And needless to stay, in the gogos you do enter, do spend some bath. 1-2 drinks for you + an LD if you fancy a girl and gets her to sit with you, tip the waitress, be polite + gel with the atmosphere.

I am by no means an expert, but I believe all 3 medicines I quoted to be proprietary by different companies (Lilly, Pfizer, Bayer).

Also, wherever I had the chance to buy Cialis (Thailand, Indonesia, DR) , it has always cost me roughly the same amount.

Google says Pfizer's patent on Viagra will expire (in the US at least) in 2012, while the patents for Cialis and Levitra are apparently good for a few years more.

Today I entered Peppermint, Airport. Baccara, Iron Club and few more (will post full report tomorrow) , no problems at all. I bought ladies drinks at all these clubs but did not pick up lady from there, I even bought the ping-pong balls and sat near the jacuzzi just to prove a point. Got handshakes when I left, these guys ought to be taught a lesson. I did my part for the betterment of our fellow Indian brothers, hope they don't mess it up again for us. They must have have done some real stupid shit for this situation to arise.

After all this talk about the past and present of Pattaya and what good a place it can be or can't be, I thought I'd drop in a little irrational perspective of an experience I had with a SW on Beach Road. Now, mind you, I've traveled to Pattaya for over 9 years and I too have seen it change, but nothing so drastic that can't be explained by a little shine off the apple after the newness has worn off or the fact that the sheer excitement of a first time visit just can't be matched again.

It IS getting more expensive, but I still keep coming back. Among my numerous trips, I have sometimes left feeling it is heaven on earth and other times left feeling that the place just didn't do it for me any more, but I still keep coming back.

This one experience is just one reason why I come back. With the caveat that I TOO can hardly ever find anything worth writing home about when it comes to SW's on Beach Road, but then you find this bolt of lightening in a bottle.

The two pictures (in links) are of Noi. It was a little over two years ago in 2008. I was walking on Beach Road when I came across her. I was so taken aback as I've never seen such a stunner on the Beach. I asked her how much and she said 1200bt. I laughed at her and said "Yeah. 1200 for a street girl, get real." I sauntered on down the road, but with this constant image of her (see above links) in my mind. I thought, where am I going to get a go-go girl like THAT? After about a 10 minute walk I quickly high-tailed it back, found her and agreed to what she asked. BEST decision I ever made. She was the sweetest, kindest person with the biggest white smile and with the CLEANEST PUSSY I ever did taste. Now, I am really not one to DATY usually, but this was defininelty the best 69 I ever did have. She was so great, and she didn't rush me for a moment (and allowed me to take these pics) that I sent her on her way for 1, 500bt. She had also given me her number, so we repeated the performance the next night. I would have kept repeating, but I was leaving the next day.

Now, again, this IS NOT WHAT ANYONE SHOULD EXPECT on Beach Road, but every once in a while. PATTAYA can really amaze. Is it not the same any more? Maybe. Is there any other place like it on earth? Noone has been able to counter with another place yet!

Already having dozens of them for ladies in BKK I suppose they might keep me having fun for years to come in the unlikely event their "offices" should become no walk, no stand, no sit zones. Admitedly their is a lot of turnover in this profession, though there are also times when the ladies have offered to hook me up with their "sisters" looking to get into the business with farangs. So having a little black book can be a useful tool for obtaining fresh new pussy.

Some generalized opinions I saw before were saying that although they were not equal to TGs in looks, they were in another class in attitude. As far as Hong Kong goes, I would probably need to find prices there that compared to LOS, if that is even possible. At the moment though I am inclined towards SWs in my own country, though they offer up much less value than what is available on the streets of Siam.

Concerning democracy, I am not so sure about your theory or that Thailand should be considered as such except in name only.
