Started out in the evening on the famous soi 6 (had to check it out at least once) , you really can't be ready enough for something like this. Many of the bars like on Soi 7/8 for example have a combination of girls who are on salary and freelancers. It is very hard to lock all the girls in with a salary it can be expensive if the bar doesn't make a lot of money. The ones on contract are the ones that pay a fine like 500 baht a day when they don't show up for work. So to be able to generate willing girls they need to have FL, and sometimes the FL is the friend or the owner or bring in lots of clients when they do work so they are given more freedom to come and go.

Also it should be pointed out regarding racism, that Bacarra, Cavern ( not sure if still open ) Heaven Above, Peppermint are connected and have the same investors or owners.

But there is a lot more to them than just selfish materialism. Even more IME speak of supporting their parents, brothers and sisters, grandma or, as single mothers, taking care of their own children.
