One of my mates is visiting Dubai for his usual hobby and it's his first time in Dubai. He wants to stay close to RS based on his research on the mongering of Irani and CS. I suggested a few but it's mostly in Bur Dubai which he finds it far. So can you lads please suggest somewhere decent place he can avoid a walk of shame and green hotels close to RS? I would also appreciate it if you could please direct me to any pickup place for Moroccans or Arabs. I have Broadway and Alkhaleeh on my list.

I have been to Dubai many times and I usually stay in Tecom.
For my next trip I have two options:
Last time I saw that Byblos has been renewed and now it is called Social Hotel.
Anyone knows how is it? Did they renew rooms as well? Is it green? Rates seems quite interesting.
The other option is First collection business bay.
Is it green?

I've stayed there several times. It's bright green with no fees. Guests must register, but it is always done without shame. Unfortunately it's pricey in high season. They now want more than US $250 / night. Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative, something nicer than Moscow / Capitol but less expensive than M Square (and green of course).

This was about 5 years ago. Don't think it has changed since, since all hotels are more relaxed than before.
Try park regis and majestic city.

Hilton double tree M square by Burjuman is green. I even asked the reception that I will have a few guests visiting me at night and they were cool with it. I didn't go through with the orgy I was trying to put together. It was easy to bring ladies in with a quick registration and the walk of shame is quite not an issue compared to the nearby Park Regis or The Majestic. The lobby is super huge and there aren't families lurking in the lobby at night. A true 5 star hotel compared to park Regis.

Double tree M square is super green too. I stayed there just last week with a beautiful bird. No issues at all there. I even had different girls on dback to back nights. They were perfectly fine with it.
Is five Palm hotel still girl-friendly, and do they charge extra for the female guest?

I think I'm just going to get an AirBNB instead of a hotel.
That should be much less hassle when it comes to bringing over girls.
