' To which she start typing a flurry of what I assume to be insults. (Can't understand any of that anyway.).
So I ask you. Did I do something wrong here or was the whole deal just shady as fuck and I shouldn't have been going in the first place? I seem to have real shit luck.

An actual report for once. On suggestion of a post earlier in this thread I decided to go to Hongsong east road and check the area out, wasn't really planning to do anything.
From the Songyang road metro exit, went along Yaohong road and left to Hongsong east road. Sorry, I can't give exact directions, but that's what I did. It was the very first shop with girls sitting out at the front, you can't really miss it.

The same kind of story happened to me a couple of times with qq girls. So don't worry. A good experience would have been surprising actually.
They are extremely wary about disclosing their exact location to first timers, usually it turns into a cat mouse hunting game. Eventually you get frustrated by the whole process and tell her to go to hell. That s usually when they try to get you back but it s too late.

I had planned on reviewing two of the higher end massages in Gubei, but unfortunately one review is extremely limited.

Called there twice. First time on a Sunday evening and spoke with a guy with no English at all. All I could get is that there was no 'special' massage available. I figured perhaps because it was Sunday. Tried again on a Saturday night (maybe 11 PM) and a different guy answered telling me the special massage was on holiday (could get a foot massage) and would be available maybe 2 or 3 days later. As I live very close, I may just go there next time and see what happens.
Dongsen Club:
First time I called (FYI, if you have never been there before, you MUST call in advance), Qiqi who speaks very little English, quickly handed the phone to Tony (fluent!) Have been there 3 times now; here is a summary:
Pros:
* Very secure - 2 out of the 3 times I was there, I was unable to operate the elevator myself. There is someone in the building lobby you have to get past first, once you're in the elevator, he calls and gets you sent up. The 1st time I was there and was able to operate the elevator myself, the staff was clearly off-guard by an unannounced guest and had I not spoken to someone just 15 minutes earlier, I probably would have been sent away.
* clean: I am pretty sensitive to this and have no issues there whatsoever.
* variety of girls: each lineup has been at least 15 - 20 with several quality choices.
* If you don't want to lounge around (see one of the cons), you are taken straight to your private room. No locker room, no other people to see, etc.
* Tony: the English speaking manager is extremely helpful and posts updates on WeChat. I was a bit disappointed with the service in the first visit and told Tony the next time. Although I did not take his recommendation, he did make a point to tell the girl I chose that I was disappointed and 'make me happy'.
* Nuru: I am definitely not an expert on this, and others here may argue with me, but from what I can tell, they have a true nuru massage. After selecting a girl, she will come out with a plastic cup of gel. The last girl I had went beyond the wet, body-on-body massage and included licking, sucking and BBBJ during the wet portion. BTW, she was not the best looking, but was recommended to me by Tony for her service. And she was exceptional (for the record, due to a medication I take, I have a hard time finishing, which will often frustrate girls. She was determined to make it happen!
Cons:
* Lounge: although I have not even been in the lounge area, Tony advised me there was nothing really there for me. Fast food and lounge chairs. This is a place for the special service only.
* Busy: on my last visit (11 pm Sat night) there were 3 people selecting women in front of me, the selection was the weakest I had seen (although with Tony's help, I had great service. See Nuru above), had to wait for a room and when we entered, the room was bit messy (but my girl jumped right to action to straighten things up).
The price at Dongsen starts at 830 RMB and goes up to 1980 RMB. Depending on the girl. I have only sampled the 830 selection. So far, no kissing or DATY (which I would like) but BBBJ always, along with multiple pops within the allotted time. You can also have two girls, although I haven't done this yet.
