If the girl was working in the biz prior to July 1st, she does not need to register until December 31,2017. Section 37 (1) reads as follows: "Persons who have already pursued prostitution before 1 July 2017 shall register their activities for the first time by 31 December 2017. ".

Therefore the "serious" recommendation from prostitution help organisations is that the girl apply just for all German municipalities and these are around 11000.
