Flights. Don't believe the hype
I flew twice last week. Full planes, every seat filled. None of the flight attendants wearing masks and they were within 6 inches of everyone's face leaning in and asking if they wanted more cakes or drinks. Maybe 10% of passengers wearing masks.
It was an interstate flight, BUT, one of the state's borders was closed, so the assumption was they were still trying to minimize possible transmissions, or at least be seen to be trying.
On arrival everyone just got off the plane wandered through the airport and out onto the street. Not a single stop or check of anything. Things will obviously be tighter for international travel at customs on entry, but I don't think the actual flying experience is going to change as we know it.
Hopefully then, the supposed distancing plans like the chequerboard won't happen because they aren't happening now because the airlines will get their way, and therefore the cost of flights shouldn't increase.
Don't believe the hype.
