I'm doing it myself too but on a very modest scale. I'm sending 2 girls 1000 PhP each every month. They are happy with it (although not thrilled obviously) and so far haven't complained or asked for more. Next time I see them (hopefully this Autumn) I will know if it was worth it or not.

When in the history of P4P has a chick ever not come to see a guy when he was in town because he refused to send her remittances?
