In comparison, Manila girls will almost always "negotiate" 1000-2000 tip in the EDSA bars, else they won't go, that has been my experience, they get nothing from the barfine.

Cebu is more of a mixed bag, but at the end of the night the girl generally gains 1000-1500 total between barfine cut and tip. That is the general rule unless you are Korean, then its easily triple that number to the girl, they just don't care.

I profess that we must tip something for the better girls otherwise there is no benefit for a great performance. They would all just be runners because they give your one pop then they are out, they already have their money and you can't complain to mamasan. Are you kidding me? Why in the world would they go LT with you when they could do 3 or 4 ST in a night, for the better looking girls? They ain't doing this because they like you, most are living on a bag of chips and a coke a day, most live on less than 100 pesos per day. I almost never tip, except p50 or 100 for jeepney. The Vikings group girls get p1000 of the p1800 barfine. None has asked for a tip, I have repeaters that are glad for the work. For her p1000 from the barfine, she will perform 2x and stay until 10am. Also some repeaters that are glad to spend an afternoon with me ST for p500+jeep. My not tipping them has not made any run away. I've had had only one runner in cebu; she left at 3:30am because she had a second job (cleaning maid) that she had not told her mamasan about (Sisters bar). She is pictured in the photo thread.

When you pay your dentist for pulling ateeth he should ALWAYS use anesthesia. No need of tipping him.

When you mechanic use a better grade of oil, you are not paying a tip to him, you are paying a higher priced product.

Still there are jobs where a tip is part of the income (take US, for instance) and there are job where the personal service or attention makes a difference from the standard (and duly paid) service. Then one can feel free to tip, on top of the fee.
