You can go to 588 from Uijeongbu, it's about 35 minutes. You can also go to Dongducheon, it's about 20 minutes. There's good selection and straight red light district in Dongducheon, some young, nice ones, pretty varied. If you exit Dongducheon Jung Ang station, go west a block, cross the main road, go north a block to a main four way intersection, look 10 oclock (if you're facing north at the four way intersection) and it's right there- can't miss. The good thing about 588 is it's already in Seoul if you want to go other places.

I've been wondering if anyone knows of any massage places that offer extra services around the Osan AB area that hasn't been placed off limits to service members. There's one called Thai Massage by one of the gates and was wondering if anyone knew if that was a good spot.

Went to a BBS in Deokjong, hoping to have better luck than Dongducheon, to no avail. The old lady that worked there gave a crappy massage (good intention, though) and then proceeded to do FS (?). I put a question mark because I don't know what the hell it was, kind of like being hot-dogged, not really sure.

Anyone else have any experience with this? The lady gets on top of you, tells you to put one arm over her shoulder and proceeds to ride you in a certain way, getting mad at you if you move your arms down to the massage table- really bizarre.

No different positions, no way in hell you're on top (which I prefer). No way she's laying on the table for DATY, she finally turned reverse cowgirl and finished that way, but not inside. I don't know, maybe I'm sticking it up the butt for all I know. Really strange at those BBS &51060; &50857; &50896; , first one I'd been to in awhile and thought it would be better since it's away from Dongducheon (military town) , nope.

Anyone have any luck in Unseo, located between Gimpo and Inheon airports on Airport railroad? I tried the Thai Massage on 5th floor first one on street straight out of only exit from metro. No luck with any extra's but many other shops nearby.

I'm new to this forum but have posted on others in Asia before, namely Japan. Was hoping to get a little help from my fellow browsers on what & if there was to to or have in the nearby areas of Pyeongtaek without a huge "risk". Visited websites and scrolled through the off-limits listing and it seems as if everything worth while that has been written about here is somewhere on that webpage. As you could probably have guessed by now I am one of those who wears the same outfit to work on a day to day basis so to anyone offering advice please keep that in consideration. Look forward to hearing from my fellow travelers and sampling some of the Korean cuisine (wink, wink) when I can. Let me know where's the best place for a taste test gents.

i'm heading to anjeong-ri / pyeongtaek within the next 60 days and i am hoping to be able to get up to speed with the local do's, don't's and places of action in the area. although i am new to this specific forum i have done my fair share of posting while i was actively sampling the local cuisine in japan. been doing my fair share of reading and research on the forums and all over the internet and it seems as if a lot of the good stuff has either been shutdown or placed off limits to people like me (most should know exactly what that means). so i am hoping you'll can provide the latest and greatest about what i need to know and so that i can hit the ground running in the very near future. hope to hear from everyone soon.

I was curious about visiting Yong Ju Gol as I had heard about it several times, but never went there. Some posters on here mentioned "freak" or something to that effect. I drove over from Dongducheon, about a 45 min drive on Route 56 until you reach Beopwon-ri, follow 56 further south and before you get to Paju is the small community where it's located. It's pretty huge place, bigger than 588 and some windows have 7-8 girls working them. It's kind of intimidating, as clearly gangsters run the show. One person said "freak" and after going I realized why. Some girls had tattoos not only covering the whole back, but also the legs and front, like Chris Anderson of the Miami Heat. The one thing not mentioned is the fact that it is very foreigner UN-friendly, as in almost openly hostile to foreigners. There were about 4 girls out of 100 that would take foreigners, but even they were strongly encouraged not to do so. Bottom line- lots and lots of girls, most of them pretty, hardly any obliging to foreigners, wouldn't return there.

I just would like to know if the Jeonju RLD still exists. Has anyone tried to go there recently? I'm a gyopo, I realize that I may still be rejected in some of the booths. But I've been going to the city every Sat-Sun for the past few weeks because of a sick relative, so I might as well try visiting the RLD.

To anyone who hasn't gone and wants to know where it is: there are directions in this forum, but I found them incomplete. So I looked through Naver Maps' Street View. (Funny that when I found it, Naver blurred the booths.) Go to the back of City Hall (the front has this huge lawn with foot paths that is enclosed by a semi-circle) and go NW. You should find the RLD on the 1st. 2nd, and 3rd right. The coordinates of the 2nd right are 35. 825699, 127. 146974 (remove the spaces after the periods, if they appear).

I went by there a few weekends ago and there were a lot of girls but only two would talk to a foreigner.

Unfortunately, I was never able to go to the Jeonju RLD. (I was helping out the sick relative in my last two visits to Jeonju.) In case anyone else wishes to try, I've attached a map. The blue circle indicates City Hall. (It faces the semicircle lawn with walk paths). The streets marked with red make up the RLD, I believe.

Also, I don't know if this was mentioned before, but there's a couple of videos of guys in a car going through the streets of the RLD. Do a search on "Jeonju RLD" in Youtube and you will find them (the videos are in two parts).
