East China - Shanghai

Saturday:

Went downtown to check out the Feng Ding Yuan Club sauna on 6F of the Feng Xiang Clothing market on Nanjing Xi Lu. Could not find the entrance which is supposedly in the street on the left when you are facing the building. Didn’t look long as I was getting tired of all those people asking you to come and buy their stuff. It’s really a pain to walk that street as a Caucasian.

Had a nice walk through People’s Park and decided to check out the Jingan region e.g. Shanxi Bei Lu, Changping Lu and Kanding Lu. I didn’t find any BBS’s on Kanding Lu but there are a few on Shanxi Bei Lu. Didn’t see anything worthwhile so decided to have a foot massage. I had been walking for quite some time so I guessed these guys needed taking care of. There was a previous report of a small foot massage shop on the corner of Shanxi Bei Lu and Changping Lu so I decided to give it a try. When I went in, the three foot massage chairs were taken but the lady said there was room upstairs. What is the best way to get to Heting? Some reports say there is no metro nearby but other say it is possible. If taking metro, can anyone give detailed directions?

Why risk it? You are already within mtrs of the TomgRen Lu bars - tons of w.h.o.r.e.s there - go pick one - walk outside the bar - get taxi to your hotel.

Next morning you will still have your health and your wallet - albeit it will be tad skinnier and lighter.

Attend Heting Elite on Siping Lu. Mildly tricky to get to because of the roadworks. One has to travel past when heading from the South and make a Uturn to get back. Fail on all three. There is no view of the Bund, the Pearl tower is obscured by another building, and the river shares the view with the construction. One cannot see Pudong very far because of the smog. Still ok hotel for the price which includes a substantial breakfast. The internet connection is fast, at least it would be fast if it connected. I don't think I am doing anything wrong as I have networked PCs so I know what I am doing.

The place is definitely girl friendly. In the space of less than 72 hours I took 4 girls up to my room. This was preceded by some chit-chat in full view at in the loby. Amusing was concierge who, by the 4th came around, could not hide his surprise. Actually I lucked out on three of the four and so was not the superstud he may have thought. this is a terrible case and indeed it may happen BUT I know quite a few BBS girls on a more personal angle and they all can leave at free will, and they do so. Not my lucky day yesterday.
