I realize I should post this in the Sihanoukville forum but its dead over there. Last post was April 2023. Here's my question:
I've been preparing for an upcoming PP trip by making contacts on asiandating (waste of time), TF (waste of time) and FB (lots of success). On FB, I see there are many girls that list their location as Sihanoukville. Is there an active hobby scene there? If yes, is it worth taking a bus for a two day trip?
P.S- I'm aware how the Chinese totally fucked up that once beautiful village.
I lived there for 8 years, 2010 to2018 and left when the Chinese took over (like almost everybody else! It was never a beautiful city but you are right about the chinese fucking it up. I honestly cannot tell you how the scene is at present as I have never been back although I visit Kampot from time to time and hear things. The very few places available to foreigners are probably stupidly priced, as in 50 dollars ST. Again I could be wildly off. You would probably actually be better off with FB. Try just asking a few outright what they want. I am curious myself. Even if it was 20 bucks I'm not sure it would be enough to draw me back. I and many others share a great dislike for what happened and what it has become. Good luck.
It would take a lot for me to drag my ass down to Snooky again. Maybe it's me but imo it's a long drive. I swear one time it took well over 4 hours. Google map says 2 hours 40 minutes to 3 hours 40 minutes. I haven't been for many years. Maybe someone can change my mind but I doubt it.

When I check out their friends I see Chinese men whose location is Snooky. Seems like Snooky is a playground for the Chinese (I think we already know that).

Where are you getting your info from? Svay pak pretty much died 20 years ago when foreign dogooders and the government combined to close the place almost completely. If it ever came back it can only be a shadow of it's former glory and the girls are probably the same ones from 20 years ago! But hey, head out and give it a look and report back. If you have anything good to report I will be amazed but appreciative of the info. One thing is for sure, you ain't going to be screwing hot young Vietnamese chicks for 5 bucks a pop.

A Khmer taxi driver I had not too long ago told me that was previously employed as a driver for a casino in Snooky. He told me that most nights he would drive Chinese customers to the KTVs where they would tip the girls sometimes up to $400. Just in the KTV room itself, not even to take them out! The Chinese money in Cambodia is different. Most of it shady AF too.
