FKK Artemis - Berlin

But I have seen girls taking sun at Artemis, but swim. I never seen in Artemis, mostly male clients swim.

As far as I know girls are allowed to swim and lounge by the pool at Artemis, I think they do not do that because of hair and make up.

I'll be in Berlin in February and definitely visiting Artemis (my first time). Are Saturday and Sunday good days for the lineup and the crowd (hopefully not too crowded)?

Are there any comparable places in Berlin (FKK or Pausha)?

What's the current average quality of girls in Artemis? (I was in Frankfurt recently and really disappointed by Oase. Nice girls but too pushy for extras. But very pleased at Sharks!

Have booked my plane and hotel (Ku' Damm 101 (believe it is not far from A).

To arrive about 5.30 pm the 18th Jan for one day only. I will report back in how it goes.

One question I have is about changing money, in my case from GBP to EUR. In the UK card withdrawal limits are awful and as my bank account is somewhat new I can only withdraw the equiv. Of GBP 300 in one day. Changing cash from GBP to EUR in the Uk (at a bank or any high street store at least) is an awful option. Of all the countries I have been in the UK has the worst exchange rates and I would lose 10% from market price of I did it here.

I am not sure I have much option than to change GBP to cash at the airport in Berlin (SFX) as I am presuming GBP is not taken or exchanged in Artemis (and my only use there is getting about E 400 out with my card.

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice based on dealing with such situations before?

I have read comments on a couple of other sites that you are restricted to a maximum of 3 alcoholic drinks in Artemis. Can people please confirm (I am hoping anyway) that this is BS?

Cheers.[/QUOTE]After finally getting through on the phone to Artemis (after many, many attempts) I can answer my own question and confirm this stuff that is written on numerous other pages about 3 alcoholic drinks being the maximum someone can have in club, is BS.

(For Artemis in addition to fifty euro notes some ten euro notes are handy).

Thanks![/QUOTE]Saturday is a fairly busy day, especially in the evening, and you will get the best choice of girls, although the good ones may be hard to find. Sunday is quiet and less girls will be there, although the ones who do turn up are often more relaxed.

No comparable places in Berlin.

If you liked the Sharks girls but not the Oase ones then I think you might be a bit disappointed at Artemis. There used to be more of the amateur type who you can still find at Sharks but in the past couple of years they seem to have generally disappeared and most girls are harder nosed professionals.

How your logic leads you to not change your cash in the UK but change it at an airport, where everyone is really fleeced, is beyond me. Change some cash before you leave the UK or restrict yourself to 400 euros worth of girl (s) at Artemis (after your entrance fee you will still get two and a half hours worth, if you don't have expensive extras).

1) Are you definitely sure your card only has a 300 quid limit when abroad? A lot of cards have 300 at home but 500 equiv out of the country.

2) I've never been to Artemis but I'm pretty sure they will have an ATM there (maybe one of the Berlin boys can confirm). Pull your daily max from the ATM at the airport / before you get the Artemis, then wait until after 01:00 and pull another daily max. I bet the Artemis ATM will have a pretty steep fee though.

3) It will be cheaper to change your money in a UK bank than at the bloody airport.

If you had more time you could have opened a 2nd bank account and used 2 cards to double your daily limit but unless your bank can supply you a new card in branch it's too late for that.

I was staying in very good hotel. Walking distance from Artemis. Name. Novum hotel Kronprinz (4 star) . Paying 70 euro for 2 night without breakfast. It was Low period for hotel staying.

After all this time, I finally ran into an ATM that give separate bills(can't recall which it was). I've mainly used DB at the airports due to convenience, and some of them spits out hundreds. Any others besides Volksbank?

Not the first time I've heard about ATM limit for guys in Europe. In the US, you tell the bank a permanent limit or let them know that you will be traveling out of the country, and the duration. Once you notify this, their system will not flag large withdrawals. Nothing like this your countries? Is European ATM cards, credit cards? It's not Debit? I use debit card to withdrawal cash from my account through ATM. Credit card is something different altogether.
