They do better on the covid spread and their economy is better.

What matters is what is happening in Colombia. They and Peru seriously locked down, and they are not seeing a dramatic difference in results in comparison to Brazil and Mexico, which did not lockdown nearly as harshly, and the political will to lockdown is crumbling. You cannot ask the people of a country to make the sacrifices to make lockdowns without tangible benefits and in Colombia, they have not seen said benefits.
Whether they work or not is not relevant to this thread. What is relevant is they did not work in Colombia, and the pressure to unwind them is huge.
My chica in Bogota told me the roads are full again which is what Woodman reported as well. The people are not going to buy into a lockdown again, and the pols are now taking note of it.

If Trump wins, I expect there to be anti trust lawsuits against Google, Facebook, and Twitter.
