They will keep 95% of your money as a spoilage fee. I never heard anything like that. Poor country really needs a consumer protection agency.
I ticketed a friend on CP from Tacloban to Cebu. I get an email that the plane is in for repairs and the flight is cancelled. I can have funds deposited into the CP travel fund. Instead of a submit button they list 3 different phone numbers to call!

They were bought at the highest and most refundable fee just in case i had to cancell/rebook my flights. I might thought it would make refund/rebook easier. What a bummer i was wrong(i knew that but it could happen somewhat a surprise was handed out). Spending enough pussytime trying to get a refund I found out that the charges (unknown to mankind, as they love fancy words no one understands)were so high that only a few pesos would fall back into my pockets. And then you can say I was an idiot doing the same again (booking the most refundable/rebookable ticket) in which I did not even bother to try get the refund but only booked a new ticket (in this case I actually tried to get rebooked to another flight but with those long lines at the ticket office not a chance). Itis just as much hazzle go through this operations with Phil Air. I miss these asian carries beeing legacy or LCC can sprint up their websites. European carriers(LCC incl)have websites u can do all the operations/manage bookings atleast for the higher fare payers. And refund will get to u within a few days by just pressing the button u miss out. I guess these carriers simply just dont want it to be easy and expect people to give up(my theory).. Yes i know i am speaking about phils but these carriers actually try to operate and compete against more modern airlines. Phil Air also flying to LHR and CDG in europe at the moment and Cebu to Aussie and Dubai.

What annoys me is when I arrive on EK into T3 and turn my local number and see a message saying my onward connection has been cancelled and tomorrow is the next flight. Cebu Pac (and other budget airline I may add) will never help you with hotels. But that is the price for cheaper tickets.
Now EK on the other hand Skogis. I have had to cancel 2 tickets recently and the refunds have arrived less a $150 penalty (but I not care as my client picked that up).
What worries me (or could be good) is that you and are maybe on the same plane one day and no know it as I fly a lot and EK is my preferred carrier so I can consolidate miles and use them later.
Ya, I've had problems with refunds from CP, too. Yet, they are still inexpensive tix. I like their direct flight from Cebu to AC. If others are aware of other low cost domestic providers, please sound off. Thanks.

A few days ago I did book a indirect flight from Bangkok to Cagayan de Oro. Arriving in Manila 4. 55 and leaving 6. 55 am from the same terminal (3). Because it was offered as one ticket I thought it would be okay. Check in for flight to CDO closes 45 minutes prior flying. So 1 hour 15 min for collecting my luggage and passport control.
Will it be OK or should I just get myself an extra ticket this week online (need prepaid 10 kilogram extra baggage anyway which is cheaper online than buying one hour before flying at the airport). If chances of one hour delay will be 5 % then I will get a ticket in manila once it happens. If people here say 50 % I will get an extra ticket leaving a few hours later.

If not then I would risk it. Although you haven't booked a direct flight as your onward flight is with CebPac you stand a chance of having it re-assigned on a space available basis if the delay was down to them. That happened to me a couple of times and once they re-assigned my flight, the second time I had to purchase another ticket. It really depends on the duty officer on the day. I generally buy a direct flight so any delay your covered, but often the cost of a direct flight is a lot more than buying the two separately.
The airport is so totally inefficient and crowded that the likelihood of your missing the connection is strong. However, given that it's only got a single usable runway, delays are the norm and you might make it. One alternative, which always works well for me, is to check in on line and print your boarding pass yourself. That way, you avoid having to queue up for check in for the domestimat flight and increase your odds of making the flight on time.

I sometimes as you fly discounted biz tickets and have the US150 penalty to change or cancell them. If I have the even fuller fare its no penalty whatsoever and EK, a couple of trips ago, even changed my initiary from beein a return ticket OSL. MNL into a multicity with legs from OSL to CGK (Jakarta, had to stop over there to do a bd girl) and from MNL to OSL, free of charges. It pays off to sometimes to have status and beeing regular customer (just like we see with girls sometimes when we make them visist us regulary, hehe). Would be fun if you could show me your arsenal (I am a Man you fan) of sextoys at seat 2 B sometimes, haha.
I can remember last March I missed to catch the flight from Manila to Gunagzhou. Cathy Pacific did not asked any re-booking charge but made no show penalty. Some one told me generally Airlines in country of origin don't do re-booking charge.

Some may ask to use (the bakla crew also). Same for the bondage stuff. (insert smiley here).
Also 2 old men showing of vibes, anal plugs, bondage gear etc would not be good for our reputation as many would think we like to use on each other LOL.
Next time on EK I will ask if there is a kinky Norwegian in 2 B or anywhere in business class. As for me I am the model of professionalism and boredom on the plane, unless she is super cute and I will try and get her number of course LOL.
We should however check the arsenal some time preferably with a few cute there to make sure they all work LOL.
P.S. I pay $150 cancellation and only $25-50 penalty for change (sometimes. As you say it helps to be a regular).

.[/QUOTE]I flew with AirAsia Kuala Lumpur. Cebu direct flight Aug, 15th. I changed my ticket from 18th since I got bored in Kuala Lumpur. Air Asia charged me $35 re ticketing fee and it was more than fair to me. However CP and PhilAir are ridiculous. So, I decided to fly with Air Asia from now on if they fly the route I am flying. BTW, their seats are much better than Cebu Pacific. Cebu Pacific reminds me old US Army Cattle Trucks.

I already did get the ticket a few days ago. It consist of two flights but it is considered as one booking number. Of course the second plane will have people who only did pay for that part of the trip. Both flights have a different number so I am sure if the first plane will be late. The second plane will not wait for passengers arriving from BKK.
I did ask the hotel in CDO as well let us see what they suggest.
To save time I could print the boarding pass in BKK with the help of Majestic suites hotel.

I am making my third trip to Phil in a few weeks to spend a week in Manila. Not enough time to sort through all the FC, DIA, etc. I just posted an ad on craigslist with no photos of me and receiving many replies with pics, viber etc. I think I may need to move there!
