FKK Artemis - Berlin

4) Never use the ATM's on street called Travelex, Euronet, Moneybox, Cardpoint, and Cashzone etc etc.

1) I've used Deutsche bank, ING, Sparkasse at airports and have always have received the VISA / Mastercard daily rate. Can you elaborate on 'extra charge'?

3) I know FKK ATM's are expensive hence the "steep fee" comment, but the poster I was responding too is operating under special circumstances I. E. 1 day visit, daily card limit being too small.

4) Agreed. Daylight robbery.

I am quite sure they are the type of Euronet, Travelex etc right? As in 3%ish extra.

Not as bad as the Artemis type (10% extra), but still bad.

In addition almost every hotel now initially tries to charge me in my local currency and not the one I expect to pay in Germany (i.e. Euros).
