I remember my last visit, what about one year ago, and the cuties we saw and sampled, just need to make the drive from Medellin now as things have eased and opened up.

Well 5+ years of mongering here and it happened. In Broad daylight in chapinero. I had my phone in my hand briefly to check something, a man from behind pushes me then snatches it out of my hand, I run after him and he hops on a bike. It was like a movie. Total pros that were most likely watching me.

I locked my phone and had icloud locate it later that night. They managed to take the sim out and order almost a $1,000 worth of Rappi. I have to disbute the charges with my bank before the go thru, it still says pending so I have to wait til they post.

I have all the info, the location the phone was found, address it was delivered to and their phones IMEI number. My Colombian friends here say that it is a waste of time to go tot he police station nd report it, however I have all this evidence perhaps if I outline it all clearly they can make some moves. We will see.

I guess with a pandemic and no jobs the crime rate is sky rocketing. Watch yourself out there!!

It happens so quickly that before you realize it bamn it is over.

I have a few rules that now come second nature to me while in centro. The best is boundaries.
