Airport exchanges are run by Dick Turpin, and will rob you, and ATM's will charge you if using foreign cards, I have seen ATM's in UK airports dispensing Euros, no idea if there is a charge or not, you should order Euros before travel, or do as I do, and use a pre paid currency card like [URL]https://www.fairfx.com/[/URL] they give a good exchange rate, can withdraw large amounts at ATM, and small fee of €1. 50.

It sounds like the UK folks have to resort to physically exchanging funds? It doesn't sound all convenient. At the land of no p6, at least we got banks offering either low foreign transaction percentage. I recall Bank of America was in an agreement with DB, and the foreign transaction fee was low as 1%, but went up, and found another from Charles Scwab thanks for a knowledgable member here. Charles Scwab debit card has no fees AFAIK except of course whatever fees the club ATM charges I presume.

If I'm drawing out 300, that's 3 Euros paid for the 1% foreign transaction fee from the card alone(not counting the club ATM charges), but also if Sharks is fixed to 8 Euros, it's just makes sense to draw out as much as you need for the tour right then. Paradise while back, they had a private ATM that charged 10%, that's 30 Euros for 300 Withdrawn. Even Sharks one if you draw out 80,10%, and even high as you draw out lower funds. Also, there is some foreign transaction fee attached to it in addition. When you use credit card to withdraw at Oase for example, it's high rate, but forget what it was.

Like MrHo says, you got to make a determination if 8 Euros at Sharks is worth it if you got a big boner in urgent need of Euros to session with that girl right away. You got go to the lock room, get changed, head out, find an ATM, and come back. I'd rather drive out at Oase to a nearby Sparkasse ATM, and come back in 15 min, and I'm good to go.

Debit card is convenient, you draw out as much as you need. I guess cash exchange works well if the rate is what it should be or very close.

I prefer to change the cash and take it with me from the UK as I normally get a corporate rate and it's easier as FKK clubs transact business in cash as oppose to debit card transaction. Also I usually pay for train tickets and hotels by card some times as I noticed that you get charged the daily rate by the banks for any transactions or payments made in the EU zone. Recently I used my debit card via Sharks ATM, I took out €200 upon checking my statement the FX rate was the daily rate which was higher than the high street but there was a transaction fee of £4.58 and non-sterling fee for ATM at £1.50 so total damage for using the ATM was £6.08 = €8.04.

In all cheaper to get a Euro cash card or carry cash. Also its best to buy your Euro from a specific location that has a buy back guarantee so you don't loss cash when you don't spend it all on your trip.

Artemis is my only FKK experience. It was quite enjoyable but I have nothing like it to compare it to. How about some of you who have been to others rate Artemis against other FKK's. One thing I notice is a large amount of silicone and a fast, big city hustle vibe at Artemis. I am looking at sharks FKK site and there doesn't seem to be as much of all that. I tend to like less silicone and a more relaxed atmosphere. Though there is a lot to select from at Artemis. I'd like to know where is the most relaxed non silicone places you've been to. And where do you rate Artemis overall and in this rating specifically. This has to be a more inviting topic to discuss than ATM machines.

I was based in Artemis for years and since last year I began moving around to another cities in Germany and I also gave a day try to globe Zurich.

All in all, Artemis LU changed a bit. It still is diverse LU that contain many different types of girl, but non silicone teeny type young rather new to industry type has almost disappeared and current Lu at Artemis has strong tenancy on silicone, tattooed up professional looking girls.

In Hessen, Palace is like that filled with working girl looking girl and is with sharky upsell, but if you know how to manage that and trained in Artemis, it can be handled, but LU maybe quite disappointment as it is club for pro looking girls and mainly targeting tourist and this is so even more than Artemis. Also club has no out door area to even breathe air, so hard to stay whole day. I kinda liked Oase, but I had mixed experience of both good and bad session that it is hard to judge, but in summer it is good club to visit with large outdoor area.

Now sharks. When I was there, I did not like LU as I saw no stunners, but as I wrote before, recently I began looking back about FKK sharks, and it is true to point out that LU is younger, less tattoo, and much less silicone and I did 3 sessions there and service level was good and all girls were still natural not just in appearance, but they do not behave like pro prostitute. You know it felt like sleeping around with some girl you got along kinda feeling but you pay But again I did not see stunners, but cute young girls kinda club, so I decided to give another go to fulfill that part of my demand for cute girls and not stunners.

Globe was bit over hyped, there are some standard it seemed and service is as they say, but it is not like they are all stunners, and some are good, some are not even good. But there seems to be some kind of standard there, but it is not worth flying over from Germany as these level of girls can be found in Artemis.
